She went on and on about her bi-polar disorder and gave lots of other excuses, but I'm sure she could have gotten attention from lots of other men who were not her husband, I'm sure she would have had plenty of opportunities to have an affair if she wanted, but there HAS TO BE something else behind why she chose to carry on with a *14 yr old* student.
I know that she herself said she should be in jail and she accepts responsibilty, but there have been many, many women who were also raped or sexually assaulted when they were young, and while they may become promiscuous I haven't heard of them preying on children.
Has anyone investigated this particular angle about her?

I'm sorry but this woman is a freak of nature. she is a pedophile under all circumstances. i too am bipolar and have never had the desire to sleep with a child. hyper sexuality had been a problem on occasion, but come on-gimme a break. that's just nasty

I just do not see how bipolar can make you choose a 14 year old student. Yes, it could make you manic which would lead to being promiscous. What mental illness caused her to choose the person she chose to be sexual with-because I was diagnosed with bipolar and I have researched it----I never heard of it making you choose this avenue. She is causing others to be scared of people with bipolar. When others start getting scared of us, then doctors such as internists don't believe anything we say and we do not get the help we need. i.e. had cancer and they let it ride!

She just got some kinda power trip thrill , out of turning this little kid onto some of the hottest *** he will ever have. You can believe he will never forget her as a first, and I bet that gave her some kind of perverted thrill! I still have to say I do not understand this kid telling--I would have kept my mouth shut and rode her till my senior year!! Sorry I am a dog!

No investigation, but I did watch the program and agree with you fully. If she would have been a male teacher, there is no doubt that he would be serving jail time
