I had done a paper last week and now my instructor wants me to identify the rhetorical devices that I used to make my arguement. The paper that I wrote was Analyzing three sources and write what the author believed on a certain topic. It is one of many steps that I have to do before writing my research paper.

Rhetoric means a use of language that creates a "Literary Effect", but often without regard for literal significance. So you have to revisit your writing, and see what you added, that was not necessary, and then to remove it. You may have also written something more than once, that you, will have to remove as well. Good Luck.

a million. Is a rhetorical question, that's a question that's asked for dramatic consequence without expectation of a respond 2. Is Apophasis (additionally noted as praeteritio or occupatio). This asserts or emphasizes some thing by using pointedly seeming to bypass over it. 3. Is Apostrophe, meaning "turning away" and refers back to the technique of breaking off and directing area of a speech to an imaginary individual or precis high quality or concept. yet another occasion of apostrophe in Julius Caesar could be "O, grief, the place hast thou led me?" it is likewise a rhetorical question!
