I was having pain on my heal after sitting some time idle or after getting up from sleep. I approched the Doctor and he told me 'its because of Calcium Deposit'. Even I asked the reasons, his answer was not clear for me. If anyone can give me a good answer, please..

I had Heel Spurs, which is what I believe you really have, and it took 6 months of Cortisone Injections, into both sides of my heels to dissolve them. Here is more information.

The heel bone is the largest bone in the foot and absorbs the most amount of shock and pressure. A heel spur develops as an abnormal growth of the heel bone. Calcium deposits form when the plantar fascia pulls away from the heel area, causing a bony protrusion, or heel spur to develop. The plantar fascia is a broad band of fibrous tissue located along the bottom surface of the foot that runs from the heel to the forefoot. Heel spurs can cause extreme pain in the rearfoot, especially while standing or walking.

calcium deposits are literally calcium that has deposited in some weird places in the body. It's not necessarily too much calcium. I had one on the front of my shin. It went away after a while.

It might be correctable with diet. See the links below.
