I want to pay a condo in the Philippines, What are the rules ? what are the visa needed?

I already have a house in Thailand, But as the visa is getting harder for Thailand, I would like to share my time beween the two counrtys, I would also like to know where it would be a safe part of the Philipoines, plus if you could give me some sort of cost of a 1 bed condo as well this would be great . Thank you

all of the philippines is safe except way down south in the islands on the way to borneo from mindanao. it's also very cheap to live here and most people speak american. i would expect to pay 100,000usd for a condo which is the only way a foreigner can own any property here at the moment. you don't own the land but you do own your little bit. you might want to think about renting a house for 2-300usd a month in a place like puerto galera, subic, busuanga or really any of the islands outside the big cities. come and stay for a while and see how you like it for a year or so before you jump into a deal. you can rent and live very comfortably here for 10,000usd a year outside the cities, on the islands
