my daughter is almost 13 months and loves to sit on the toilet, she shows high intrest in it, but my family and friends say shes to young? Because we got her off the bottle and onto a cup just after she turned one. But she doesnt like bottles anymore, she tried once and gagged so she gave up. With her diaper she takes it off and sits on the toilet, i think she's ready, cause she knows how to walk. and takes her own diaper off when she is ready~ need advice!

well we never force her, actually didnt even plan on training her, we were just at a store and put the training toilet in front of her, and she didnt want to leave it, she has been trying ever since. but the only time i give it to her is when she has her diaper off so she knows that it not a toy!

I reckon you should go for it, if shes already sitting on the toilet she must be ready, my daughter came off the bottle at the same age and went basically straight to the potty.

i was potty trained and walking before i was 12 months. she is ready if she can make the diff, that OK i am wet or i feel like i need a new diaper i know i am to get on here and i will be clean. she is not too young. my friends son is 2 and he will take his off and go to the potty but still tell his mom to go buy him some diapers. now sometimes he doesn't even go to the toilet/potty he will urine in the diaper and then take it off and say he needs another one. so i think that when a baby is deciphering wetness to potty then it is time. it is all on the baby. and the parent. babies that start off early like that do become smarter kids cause they are ambitious

Ummm yeah that would be an indication that she is ready. Just don't toss out the diapers and go purchasing underwear just yet. Wait until she is COMPLETELY done with the "potty training" otherwise you will be like other parents who whine and moan that their child was potty trained but keeps having "accidents". After she seems to be "trained" a diaper at night doesn't hurt for another year or two if necessary.

by no potential TOO youthful. if a new child is sufficiently previous to tell u wen they have completed a "poo" then they may be presented to the potty. whilst they are that youthful u kinda would desire to attend till they say approximately doing poo's or wee's u cant extremely take a fifteen month previous who has of course no information or pastime contained in the potty and have a look into to potty prepare them on account that wont artwork. yet whilst they are showing intrest and handing u nappies then there is not any injury.

Keep in mind the difference between potty training her and potty training yourself. If you do all the work for her, all the wiping, taking her pants off and on, washing her hands, who is actually being trained? Usually they will do it all when they are ready, its good to keep the potty chair or whatever available. In the long run, when she gets to college, she won't remember at what age she was trained!

Its never too early. If she shows interest, let her go for it. I had a potty readily accessable for my daughter and when she needed it she just used it. Sometimes she did, sometimes she didnt. Kids are ready for things at all different ages, they are not on a pre prepared timeline. If shes ready , shes ready....she doesnt think shes too young!!

There is no such thing as too young. If the baby does it without being forced, it is great. Just be careful that she doesn't fall in the toilet. My nephew at that age used the potty and said "caca" (poo in greek) when he wanted to go, so that we would give it to him and take his daiper off.

Start now if she is willing to sit on the potty then let her. No point in not letting her. You don't want to give her mixed signals so you do what is best if you think she is ready then start training her.

I think you should go for it. If she's already sitting on the toilet, I would say shes ready. Try pull ups on her one day and see how she handles them!

Start now, but don't put pressure on her to be perfect just yet. Most babies train well at 18 months to 2 years.
