harder if they are married & have kids. to many obligations, responsiblity, asset etc. progessively easier from without kids, without marriage, without staying together & virtually no obligation if just boyfreind not staying with her.

It would depend upon what the lie was about and how badly if you hurt her.
If you lied about not working and hanging out with friends, I can live with that. If you lied and you slept with someone else, you're out the door.
