Whatever you do, don't avoid going to a doctor for birth control pills. Hormones carry serious risks, and you need to be checked beforehand and monitored after you are given the pills. Try a local free clinic or Planned Parenthood.

If you are from India, the birth control pills are easily available in any chemist shop/ municipal or Government health facilities. They cost you much cheaper than Sanitation pad! If you are married convince your husband in soft language,Try to reason out why he wants baby now? It is better to discuss than to Fight! Be prepared while discussing. If you already have 2, its better 2 go for permanent method , or even if you want 2 have child later & there had been an abortion/birth before, you can go for Intra Uterine Contraceptive Device like Copper-T.

You could go to Planned Parenthood and have everything done there in a confidential manner. They are relatively affordable.
Maybe look into your local Health District Center, sometimes they may have a family planning unit. If all else fails, look in your local yellow pages for "family planning" and call up some places for prices on birth control.

Your local county department of health is one option. Another is that the controversial "day after" drug now available to women 18 or over at pharmacies, without a perscription. It is adviseable to read the possible side effects of the pill remedy.

I'm sorry I can't be much of a help. All I know is you'd have to get a prescription in order to get the pills but then I'm in Australia and it must be different in the States

Abstinence sounds like your best bet......You shouldn't use birth control especially since you are not under a doctors care.....BC can have many side effects that can be life threatening.......My sister had a stroke from taking birth control....be very careful and you should go to the doctor

is there a planned parenthood in your city? They can give you that. If you are really broke, I saw condoms at the dollar store the other day. Whatever you do, USE SOMETHING.
