Im sorry to say but there are some super bizarre ideas floating around out there and people seems so sure of these ridiculous ideas. How did so many people get so opinionated? whatever happened to testing your ideas against reality and other people????

on the other hand, untested ideas tend to be weak and not in the best interests of a persons dignity to go around spouting them.
when you gotta run your theories by your pet rock because the cat rolls her eyes at you maybe its time to go back to the drawing board

not at all....rather im embarrassed for people who spout theories that an average grade schooler could destroy and parade themselves as some sort of religious authority.
Also i didnt mean to imply that mass agreement is needed for validity. sometimes self scrutiny can have blind spots though, and other people can serve as a mirror, as you all are doing for me, see?

It's a flaw in one's dignity and nature to look for validation of your ideas against other people. By what authority are they the guidepost?

Every who answers (or even asks) a question, does so because they have an opinion.
Some opinions will be radically different from your ideas because of different beliefs or educational systems.
And as far as reality goes .... Does my reality affect yours? And how does one realistically test reality? And what would you do if you found out that your reality was the wrong one?
