Okay, so the other day when I was joking around with one of my guy friends I kinda pulled his woolen hat down over the back of his head for him. Later on another friend who saw me do this said I was flirting! I thought it was an innocent gesture - what do you all think?

depends on if you do it all the time.. if you do it all the time then you are flirting, but if it was a one time thing then it was just innocent!

you might be in an innocent sort of way. I think it's cool as long as you don't make these gestures a game to get attention. And most importantly, be in tune with how the guy is responding because he won't always (really rarely) tell you if he's uncomfortable.

Your friend must be jealous that you're being "friendly" with your male friend. It's mistaken as "flirting". It's a very thin line between being "friendly" & "flirting". Just don't cross the line if you don't mean to express signs of "flirting". Since you think it's innocent, it is innocent. But what you do can be wrongly interpreted by your friend who saw you & the male friend you're joking with.

You were probably flirting. Loads of people do. LOL. If you act like that with lots of people then it was innocent, but otherwise loads of people flirt but dont even realise. It doesn't matter so long as no one is getting hurt by it. Enjoy it.

Some people were just made to flirt. I've been told for many years that I'm a huge flirt. I don't think I am at all. I'm just being me.

sure is, but it's ok too.

if you're in a relationship then maybe not a good thing to be flirting with others, but if you're single then why not enjoy.

be warned, flirting leads to more than just 'hat pulling'...

Well people dont normally touch someone they dont like and this gesture was saying you like him because it is a very personnel thing to do.

Thats a flirtatious move if there ever was one, like punching a guy in the arm in Highschool.
