When is it that you begin to feel these symptoms? The first thing I thought when I read your list of symptoms, was the sun. It sounds like possibly these begin to have their onset when or after you have spent time in the sun. These short headaches you refer to are unique. I have never heard of this. Hummm...okay I just typed in "short headaches" into google and it looks like other people suffer from these too. They are known as "ice pick headaches." They are short but intense. Are yours intense? Read this and see if this sounds like your headaches that last only seconds:
'They're "ice pick headaches." They are short, stabbing, extremely intense headaches that can be absolutely terrifying. They generally only last between five and 30 seconds. However, they come out of nowhere, can strike anywhere on the head, literally feel as if an ice pick is being stuck into your head, then disappear before you can even figure out what's happening. The pain can also seem to occur in or behind the ear. "
My first thought is that you are having some sort of reaction to something. In the future really try and pay attention to where you are when these things happen. Are you indoors/outdoors? Is the lighting dark or bright? Is there mold or weird smells? Are you near any animals? These are all things that could be causing the symptoms.
Really, other than suggesting paying close attention to your next onset, I don't have any suggestions. But, like you said, you could go see your doctor. I really hope you feel better.

It looks like a sore throat to me.
But if you're worried it might be something more, look around you. Is there a viral infection floating about that people are being affected by, or is someone at work, in your family or amongst your friends ill?
But till then, rest and drink plenty of fluids. Gargle with warm salt water. See a doc immediately if symptoms persist, or a fever develops, or a difficulty in swallowing occurs.

Diabetes is not the first thing that comes to my mind. The classic triad of symptoms is polyphagia (increased appetite), polydipsia (increased thirst) and polyuria (frequent urination). I would need a medical history, physical assessment and labs. Even then, I cannot diagnose you and this is what you are asking for. No one can diagnose you except a licensed MD, NP or PA and only after a history & physical and diagnostic tests so PLEASE don't ask for one. You'll only get a lot of clueless and unqualified speculation. Let your health care provider tell you what's wrong.

That could like by many differet things. The loss of appetite and thirtiness might be from having a sore throat. If it lasted for more than 2 days I would worry about it.

Some of your symtoms sound like a sinus infection but you did not say that you were congested, however more of them sound like diabetes. The only thing that does not sound like diabetes is the sore throat. So it could be a combination of things. Of them you need to look at what has been happing longer and let the doctor know that to help better decide if you need furter testing.

The "always thirsty" and appetite issue leads me to believe it could be something like diabetes or a thyroid issue (or both; they are often found together). See a doctor right away.

I highly recommend you see your doctor, of course. The symptom of always being thirsty makes think of diabetes.

High blood pressure and/or diabetes. Do you notice a change in headache after you manage to eat? Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) might also be responsible. Is your thirst accompanied by frequent urination disproportionate to your liquid consumption? Marker for diabetes. Please see a doctor soon.
