Important issues require focused mental labor to discuss. When people socialized, they want to take a vacation from focused mental labor. They want to let their minds wander together not in study but in a mutual daydream. That's OK. But, I believe people need social opportunities in which to study important issues together. Yahoo Answers is one such opportunity. High school and college debate programs are another. Logic another. Religious and philosophical scholarship another. If you hunger for more intense, "important" conversation, volunteer to help ready your local high school's debate team for competitions.

Myself, I know that it takes a much, much smaller amount of effort and energy to tell a few amusing stories and incoherently babble about the latest cars, sports games, politics, computer programs/parts, or whatever weird trivia I ran across on the Internet than having an intimate discussion about God, deep relationships, or the all-important existence of chips and salsa.
In all seriousness, it takes less energy and to be honest? There are some things that are quite imporant, but still either not socially acceptable to discuss or the sort of thing that I don't trust a lot of people to talk to about.
Plus, you might be amazed at how many deep topics make surprise visits in the middle of inane banter.

Socially people are reserved and not really open up, so, they sort of boring. They talk about Weather and Politics and some Movie Star having a baby and what it's name will be or Survivor Sit-com's that are a joke to real surviving. NOW the REALLY Social people, they have BBQ's and Beer and wild, crazy people and talk about all kinds of cool stuff and have bonefires, But, in real life they are considered the unsocial, because they not mess with the Society Social people because, as I said, they really boring.

Is there really that much important stuff to talk about. Also depending on the level of the relationship some of the "important" subjects are just not worth chancing it.

I don't think they talk mostly about unimportant things. They simply talk more, which leads to having more to discuss, both important and silly.
To put in another manner, contemplative individuals might think most about unimportant things, but that's simply because they just think more.

Because talking about important issues when socializing kill more brain cells that are needed for meetings, business plans, marital problems and so on.

Because discussing important things involves trust on both parties that they won't flip out on you...
and that unimportant things are easier to chat someone up with.
