Thats not exactly a good combination but I really want to have avacados in my diet. Are there any recipies that I could make so that I wouldn't have to taste the avacado but so it would still be there?

Avocadoes are high in fat, so don't eat too many. This is why they are said to be good for the skin. Make guacamole. Slice them and add them to a salad. One of my favorite ways to eat them is to mash them add garlic powder, a little crushed red pepper, and a few light shakes of celery seed and spread it on whole wheat bread with sliced boiled eggs, and pepper jack cheese--delicious! Now I'll have to make this tomorrow!

They don't feel that way if they are just right; you had it too ripe.

But, you heard right...they have more minerals and vitamins in them than any other food. If you ate only avacados, dates, black beans or garbanzo beans, bananas, and yogurt, and drank only mineral water, you'ld live a long and healthy life.

Try this:

Squash 1/2 of a whole avacado on a slice of your favourite bread, and sprinkle garlic salt on it...pour a huge glass of milk and there's your snack! I think you'll learn to like them. Another way is to slice one (FIRM!--not all muuushie) ...and cut into chunks INTO YOUR SALAD... you'll acquire a taste for them --- as long as you don't try eating them TOO ripe. The way to test one at the store without squeezing them tight (& ruining them for the next person)...is hold one in the palm of your hand, wrap your fingers around the whole avacado and gently apply a tiny bit of equally applied pressure. If you can feel it 'give' a tiny bit,,,,it's probably just right. If it 'gives' a lot, it's probably too ripe.
Good luck

I lived in Florida and we had an avacado tree that yeilded fruit the size of softballs! My dog fetched them. We both ate them a lot. Don't you like guacamole? Try a slice on a sandwich (BLTwith A is good), or a bit in salad. Just try to mask the taste as much as you can with whatever.

Well one thing you should keep in mind is that they do have alot of fat, I don't know if putting them in your diet will help your skin. You can go to a dermatologist and he can give you stuff for perfect skin, or I think even putting avacado on you face will hydrate it, but eating to much might make you fat. But if you really like it make guacamole.

I hate the taste of beans and peas. Especially beans. It's just disgusting like that. I've never had brussel sprouts, but almost everyone seems to hate them. lol
