I hate to exercise. I hate treadmills, running and aerobics. I think it's boring. So, I'm trying to get into a sport that will get me down to my goal weight for a friend's wedding in a year. Which sport will keep me interested and get me to lose weight.

Team sports are out of the question. I have a terrible schedule with graduate school (M,W,TH can go as late as 8 p.m.) and I don't know anyone who will join me for tennis or basketball (I've asked). I've been looking into taking boxing/kickboxing/self-defense classes that fit into my schedule. Could one of those classes help me achieve my goal quickly?

Swimming can make you loose a lot a weight, you just have to be very dedicated at it.

The secret is to choose a sport you like. Swimming is good, but I swim laps for an hour daily, and I still have to walk and do resistance training to lose weight. Tennis is probably the best, because it's easier to find a place to play. You hate the 3 things that help the most to lose weight, unless you are really into a certain sport.

The best sport to get you to lose weight is the one that you don't get bored with. I do both Pilates and Yoga and once a week, a do a belly dance exercise (so I'll know how to show of my thin figure once I finish getting it back!) If I were you, I would rent or borrow DVDs on Pilates, Yoga, Tae Bo, and anything else you can find and do them. There should be something you like, then make yourself a routine that alternates. For instance, you could do Yoga 3 MWF and Tae Bo TTS or anything like that. If you don't enjoy it, you won't stick with it. Also, you could try finding a buddy to exercise with you, that can help keep you motivated. Good luck!

There are three main ways to lose weight quickly.
1) Use only water as liquid and eliminate all other liquid drinks from your diet. You must drink as much water as possible every day. You must drink about half of your weight. If you have weight of 200 pounds then you must drink about 100 oz of water.
2) The interval between the eating is very important. If you eat once, then you must eat next after 4 hours. You must take breakfast regularly. In the night eat your food three hours before going to bed.
3) Walking is very good. You must walk as much as you can. Walk everywhere you can. Use of elevators and escalators must be reduced and instead of these you must climb stairs more often.
These are some of the fastest ways to lose weight. By just following the simple steps, you can lose your weight very quickly. You must consult your doctor if want to change your diet or exercise routine.

If you can find a partner, do tennis since it gets ur whole body moving and is fun. You have to run across the long court a lot so it's like running.
If you can't find a partner, swimming is the easiest sport to do by yourself. It will definetely slim your waist and legs and give u some toned arms too.

Try tennis. Or go buy a jump rope and get to jumping, this is very good cardio. You can also try kick boxing get a punching bag and knock and kick out you frustrations. Or turn up some music and dance try to imitate some of that making the band 3 choreography. Also drink plenty of water and watch what you eat. Stay focused Ma! Good LUCK!
