my friend was involved in an accident about a year ago and was in a coma with a slim chance to survive. i have tried calling alot of people that knew him and nobody knows anything. there are rumors going around that he passed away and i want to know if they are true. are there any free sites that i can try

i dont know what county or state he was in because i was told that he was moved to a different hospital. either still in ca or moved to va.

I don't understand what you mean, but if he's a minor, it will not be listed online, most likely. Try going to city hall death records, or calling his family. But nothing on the internet, 99 times out of 100, unless there is a news article, won't help you. Sorry.

Sorry first of all about your friend...Where did you hear the rumors from...this is the first person that I would call. I don`t know of any sites that you could call. Have you tried the newspaper close to where he lives...that may be a possibility..Good Luck to you!!

How about calling his other friends ? school buddys? his old neighborhood ?
get on the website for the local news paper in the city he lived in ..look for obituaries around the time of his suspected death.......all of that is public record.......
You can also go to the cemetaries in the town he died in .give the director his name ,age , and approximate date of death......you will find your friend that way for sure........because cemetaries keep data on the people that they have entombed in their facilities....
