Decalogue is more familiarly known as The Ten Commandments which are a list of religious and moral imperatives written by God and given to Moses on Mount Sinai in the form of two stone tablets. They feature prominently in Judaism, Christianity and Islam.
The name "Decalogue" is derived from the Greek name "dekalogos" ("ten statements") found in the Septuagint (Exo34:28, Deut10:4), which is the Greek translation of the Hebrew name.
The Decalogue according to Christians are as follows:
1."I am the LORD your God. Thou shalt not have other gods before Me..."
2."Thou shalt not use the name of thy LORD in vain"
3."Thou shalt keep Holy the Sabbath day."
4."Thou shalt honor your father and your mother..."
5."Thou shalt not kill."
6."Thou shalt not commit adultery .“
7."Thou shalt not steal."
8."Thou shalt not bear false witness against your neighbor"
9."Thou shalt not covet your neighbor's wofe.”
10."Thou shalt not covet your neighbor's goods."
