Yes it is very beneficial for health. If you walk bare foot on rough surface or on grass for at least 30 minutes daily early in the morning, I assure you that you will not feel any nervous and heart problems or any other problems . You will all day be remain awake and will not feel any mental disorder. Its scientific reasons are that in Yoga exercise, the instructor asks us to take off shoes and become bare footed. It means that our foot has a very important part to play in our well being. Moreover in indian primitive system of treatment of diseases when any man/women became patient of any disease, the blood from her/his foot sole was suckied by another man with the mouth and she felt absolutely normal after a short while You will agree that our foot is designed to bear body weight and you will see that its sole does not feel any pain or any sign of tiredness due to body wieght.

i find it very unwise to walk barefoot as the foot and the ankle need good support and the walking at least 30 minutes is great idea and you should do it everyday i do not know any scientific reasons common sense is all i know walking barefoot is dangerous as you could really hurt your feet and if you are a diabetic most unwise good walking shoes with an ankle support

yes, i do believe this because i'm a very healthy person, and i never where shoes hardly any where, i mean i even go to the bars w/ out shoes sometimes.
