Yes, there are cops that are creepy...there have been cops who have been convicted of being serial killers...the ones i can think of is a florida deputy in the '70's and the CHIP officer in the '80's. even with stricter hiring practices in place now you can come across creepy public servants...there was a cleveland firefighter who was a serial rapist not too long ago... IF something doesn't seem right to you and I'm not talking legally...I'm talking if your warning light is going off in your head and maybe the hairs are standing up on your arms then most likely something is wrong and take action...call 911 on your home phone or in your car roll up your window and call 911 on your cell phone...not a cop i know will have you follow him to any other place than the police station....if he shows up again uninvited call and make a formal complaint.
NOW having said all that, coppers are 99.9% GOOD GUYS and you should be flattered that they thought you were cute. If you were not interested and a no thanks did not suffice then they are in the wrong and a call is warranted.
Maybe the officer mis read you and thought...or hoped ....that there might be a chance of a date and returned.
Most departments have rules about officers conduct and most officers will not ask a woman for a date or her phone number that he may call her later in fear of retribution...most smart cops dont ask but wait to be asked.
So ladies please, dont call and complain on an officer cause you do not like cops in general it will go into his personell file and hurt his career.....but if you tell him flat out that you are not interested and he continues to persist then make the call !!!

Only if they want to lose their job. That's a pretty quick way to get fired. I know for a fact that it happened here a couple times, but that officer was very quickly fired after the women reported it. Doing something like that would be a clear violation of policy and an abuse of power.

The problem would be proving that was why he pulled you over. If he never did or said anything that was out of line, and you were pulled over for a lawful reason, it would be tough. When they showed up at your house, did they do or say anything, just sit in the car, or did they talk to someone at a nearby house or someone on the street? If you call the station and talk to their supervisor, they can check to see if the officers had an actual call near your house. If they did, it could just be a weird coincidence it was the same officers. If they didn't have a real call, their supervisors need to know what their officers are up to.

I had that happen to me to except for the part where they show up at my house. Maybe you're just pretty or have huge.... Anyways, In this day and age you can take anyone to court for any reason. Even cops. In my instance I was speeding downd Grand River at 80mph. and did not realize it untill I passed a patrol car. I did not even have my license at the time. It was my friend's car. The cop searched it and called a female officer to search me. Even though I had no license they let me drive off. Wierd huh? I was wearing sort of a sexy outfit at the time which is not like me at all (another borrowed item). Maybe that had something to do with it. When I asked a friend later he said that it was because the circles around my eyes (inherited) make me look like a stoner.

That is creepy. I think some cops do pull chicks over hoping that they're single. This world is full of everything. Including horny cops.

Very creepy. I would report them because that is considered stalking. Or technically using a badge to get something. I forget the actual name of it.

Police target teenagers and women (maybe subconsciously) because they are less of a threat.

Lets see they are single and they have your address and they have been nice to you for letting you go.

Happens all the time nature of the beast....is this really a surprise to everyone?

People joke about this, but it certainly is not funny. I know a state trooper who did just that. He then stalked the young lady, whom I believed was married.
It got to the point he would sit outside her home and call her on his "issued" cell phone. Telling her he was outside, and to come out to meet him.
She finally, called his supervisor and they were able to trace the calls and confirm her story. He was fired.
