Well, I'll give this a try. I SO MISS my mother who died Oct.1st 04. I continue to feel terribly sad, I miss her SO MUCH & still grieve. Even so, I know she's so much happier now & I know she's with me. It's us on earth, that feel sad. Awhile back I watched an Oprah show. Sharon Stone was the guest. She spoke of dying from (I think) a brain anyerism, however she was 'brought back' before leaving 'for good'. She said when she died it was :SO CLOSE"--just like entering another dimension RIGHT THERE. I'm sure they can see us, but we just pick up on odd occurances . My girlfriend's husband died & she's still devastated. She's a strong Christian. But she knows my way of thinking & knew I wouldn't judge her. She told me about how he 'contacts' her. When a friend took her computer to fix it, he found a bunch of baby powder in it. My girlfriend's husband always used baby powder on his feet, but put it on in a different room than where the computer was (also the computer had been repaired one time previously after Joe's death-there's no way the powder could've been there, logically.) I'm sure folks that "pass over" have lots of friends & loved ones there!

I have thought of that too! It was very important to me that my family excepted the gift of salvation. I believe what the Word says about no sadness. I just don't want to forget them, I want them there. Last year my mother finally excepted the Lord as her Savior, Praise the Lord. So now you have a job to do! Tell your friends and family about the Lord.

Because the former things will not be remembered. And also, remember this: we each have to make a choice about who we believe Jesus to be. If a family member chooses to reject Him....that is the freedom we must allow them.

That is one of the largest problems i have with the creation story, heaven, hell, and everything in between.
How can you have eternal bliss if you knowingly are in heaven while billions upon billions of souls of people that you walked the earth with are being tortured and burned in "Hell"????
Does'nt make sense to me. I think therefore i am.........
an atheist.

The tear's refer to pain and suffering caused by this world. And if you look at the context-its only to those who belived in that promise........to which a person "who is not there" obviously didnt accept.

Because it's a place of complete joy and love and happiness. There will be family there, even some you don't know. It's a perfect place. You'll have Jesus and God there.

That's one of many fundamental problems with the story of a personified god and heaven.

I think we would have to be joyful at the family and friends that are there.
Being with God far outweighs being without anyone else.

i believe that when we are in heaven, we are more interested about the place and the adventure it's offer than anything else plus we got to meet GOD....for me i want to meet my creator and new and interesting lifeform when i'm there.
