Besides the obvious what would happen, biologically, to someone in open space?

According to Wikipedia, death in space would come from asphyxiation:

"Humans exposed to vacuum will lose consciousness after a few seconds and will die within minutes from asphyxiation, but the symptoms are not nearly as graphic as commonly shown in pop culture."

Freezing or burning without atmospheric protection from the sun or lack thereof.

I think that would happen long before suffocation froma lack of oxygen.

If I were to take one step out of that space capsule, I would die from an instant heart attack I'm sure!

Well, space is a vacuum. So imagine hooking a powerful vacuum cleaner up to every open orifice on your body.

Expect rapid unconsciousness due to anoxia and death in a few minutes as bubbles form in the blood I'd expect.

WHAT DO YOU CALL THE OBVIOUS? FIRST THERE IS NO AIR SO BREATHING WOULD BE OUT AND 2ND YOU WOULD FREEZE TO DEATH I DO NOT THINK THERE IS ANY OTHER WAY TO DIE IN SPACE UNLESS YOU GOT HIT BY A METEOR

body would explode i think due to lack of pressure, or at least the heart would but you would choke to death first. and freeze as well,
