o hit him with the shoe but as hes flying across the room say , but i love you do it with love and he will for give you..maybe.. just kidding every kid needs a petsometime in life .

a squirt gun is as bad a wacking the cat with a shoe!!!
You should NEVER use direct physical punishment on a cat. This ONLY damages the cat's trust of you, and likely damages the cat itself. There is no way a 100+ pound human can be gentle enough in wacking a 8 pound animal, so just do NOT DO IT!!!! That is animal abuse.
If you don't want the cat in bed, close the bedroom door.
If you can't do that, make a spot for the cat in a spare room or the bathroom with his own bed, box, toys, food, water.

Close the bedroom door with the cat outside. If you try the squirt bottle approach, it'll work at first but then you'll fall asleep and the cat will come up on the bed again.

How about simply closing your bedroom door at night and not letting the cat in your bedroom? This won't hurt the poor thing and you will be able to sleep without tail swishing in your face.

Dont hurt the pet,,try a skirtgun, but I think the cat may just want to spend time with you but cant blame you for not wanting the pet in your bed.

Make him a seperate place to sleep that is comfortable, pet stores have cat towers that are fun for them and they can sleep in parts of them.

a squirt bottle with water,after a couple of times,every time you reach for the bottle it'll take off before you can use it.

Get yourself a squirt bottle (empty windex bottle will do and plz rinse it out ) fill it with water and when he gets on the bed squirt him !!!!!!!!!. After a few times he will get the message............Flo
