CHOOSE YOUR PATH=======================> ISLAM
"Those who believe (in the Oneness of God - Monotheism), and whose hearts find rest in the rememberance of Allah. Verily, in the rememberance of Allah do hearts find rest." (Quran Ar-Ra'd 13:28)
The first thing that one should know and clearly understand about Islam is what the word "Islam" itself means. The religion of Islam is not named after a person as in the case of Christianity which was named after Jesus Christ, Buddhism after Gotama Buddha, Confucianism after Confucius, and Marxism after Karl Marx. Nor was it named after a tribe like Judaism after the tribe of Judah and Hinduism after the Hindus. Islam is the true religion of "Allah" and as such, its name represents the central principle of Allah's "God's" religion; the total submission to the will of Allah "God". The Arabic word "Islam" means the submission or surrender of one's will to the only true god worthy of worship "Allah" and anyone who does so is termed a "Muslim", The word also implies "peace" which is the natural consequence of total submission to the will of Allah. Hence, it was not a new religion brought by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) I in Arabia in the seventh century, but only the true religion of Allah re-expressed in its final form.
Islam is the religion which was given to Adam, the first man and the first prophet of Allah, and it was the religion of all the prophets sent by Allah to mankind. The name of God's religion lslam was not decided upon by later generations of man. It was chosen by Allah Himself and clearly mentioned in His final revelation to man. In the final book of divine revelation, the Qur'aan, Allah states the following:
"This day have I perfected your religion for you, completed My favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion". (Soorah Al-Maa'idah 5:3)

Salam Alaykum
I chose Islam becuase it is the most logical of religions. It does not have extraordinary dogmas; belief must be held up by actions.
Also, it is one of the most universal religions. Christianity probably takes second. Judaeism and Hinduism however, are religions that have been modified to a certain culture or people. How could a religion be a universal truth if it only centeres on one select group of people and their traditions?
The Qur'an was a very important factor in my conversion. I read it in both English and Arabic. I don't speak Arabic however so this took a very long time. It was beautiful and seemed to cover everything, not leaving any holes.
Last of all, I just believed it. It was hard not to become a Muslim becuase I was so convinced that it was true. For the first time, God was not just a distant concept that entered the mind once a week, but a true God.

I think the fastest growing religion is... atheism and not islam.
Reasons to follow religions, any religions, are the same since the first african bozo started to dance like an idiot to make it rain, hope that the after a lion wont eat him and so on.. in a word: ignorance.
Add to that the second big fear: death. People are scared to die so they like to be fooled with "afterlife" stories... throw in a dozen of virgins to **** there and there u go... lol
Islam is the most aggressive religion out there.. the simple fact that you cant leave once you are born or converted to islam is a first sign... the fact that non-muslim men cant marry muslim women (the opposite of course is possible, the reason? so the kids will be muslim and the happy tribe will spread his cancer) is just a quick proof of that.
As for religions like christianism and islam.. another reason is that it praise the lower human beings.. so, in other words.. ur life is like **** and u are worth nothing? no problem dude.. join us cause the more u are stupid the more god will love you.. lol..

Islam gives a sense of brotherhood and true equality to all human beings, irrespective of their colour, race, job or wealth. It makes sense. It gives human beings a purpose in life, a sense of belonging.
A majority of reverts to Islam are women and you know it well how Islam gives women respect and honour and does not treat them like the way they are treated in the West.
Islam has the answers to questions that are otherwise not found elsewhere.
There are many individual reasons why people come to Islam but Alhamdulillah for making that journey.
You are the noblest of Muslims, more noble than born-Muslims.
May Allah guide us all. Ameen.

I converted to islam because it was what i believed without any crazy added bits, pure montheism and the message of all the Prophets, peace be upon them, it is rational and reasoned. I prayed to God for guidance to the right way and he placed islam in my heart, so alhamdulillah ar raoof ar raheem

Is it really a matter of choice for most people? You are normally born into a Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Sikh, Hindu, or whatever, family. I didn't choose either my parents or my country of birth. A large number of very intelligent people have converted to Roman Catholicism, as well as Islam.
Good luck to them.

I say sturdy for you, some human beings spend their entire lives lost faith sensible. it relatively is nice to locate one which you think in. For that Cayonce lady: Muslims have confidence contained in the comparable god as Christians it relatively is the prophets that fluctuate. For us Christians it relatively is Jesus for Muslims it relatively is Muhammad. this would come as a ask your self to a pair however the main significant religions, Judaism, Christianity and Islam are all linked. I come to think of as all of them as products of the puzzle. the 1st actual faith to have confidence in one god substitute into Judaism, it relatively is the oldest faith, the main significant prophet substitute into moses and Abraham. Christianity got here alongside and our significant prophet is Jesus, and Islam is the final and the final prophet is Muhammad. in case you examine all religious textual content textile of those religions you will see that they are in reality the comparable for the main area.

Don't the extremists muslims hold a knife to your head and threaten to cut it off if you don't convert to islam? That may be one reason there are a lot of them. Most people like to keep their heads. I know 2 young girls that lived in the middle east. Those girls converted to Christianity. The muslim community went after them and cut them into pieces because they wouldn't deny the fact that Jesus Christ is Lord and King and Savior. But they were just following the koran to a T. The girls became infidels and muslims can't be having that. Walk in to a mosque in downtown Baghdad and denounce Mohammad and say Jesus Christ is Lord and just see what happens to you later that night.
