Building the Perfect Beast

Finding that one man would be difficult. The Fathers of the Holy Roman Church put the religion together. What attracted the former pagan Roman emperors to Christianity, we may never really know. But it is true that the once young religion of Christianity was a major political and military tool for the first Roman Christian emperors, especially in the first four centuries of its formation.

Everything Christian was made by Man. The Old Testament is a translated, re-edited version of someone else’s holy book, the Tanakh of the Jews. Take away the Jewish Bible and the entire New Testament would be standing on – thin air! Go ahead; try reading the NT without believing in the existence of the OT and you would have serious logic problems!

Like someone else said, the Gospels (the earliest books of the NT) were written at their earliest, 75 years after the death of Jesus. And these are the supposed eyewitness accounts about the living Jesus! Contrary to popular belief, there isn’t a single piece of scroll in history that was written about Jesus during the life of Jesus! And strangely, Jesus never left us a single artifact in his life. As much as I would like to believe in the authenticity of the Holy Relics, much of it is wrapped, disappointingly, in much myth. Don’t just take my word for it. Go ahead, try searching for that elusive scroll!

From where did Jesus get his spiritual ideas? Did the Fathers of the Holy Church get their ideas from Jesus, or did existing popular ideas inspire them as well? We might never know what really happened. The original Jesus may never be known to modern men and women. Who is he to you? ‘I am made all things to all men’ – Jesus.

There are 66 books in the bible written by various authors including Kings and shepherds. There are hundreds of prophecies in the Old Testament that have been fulfilled and this is a testament to the fact that the Bible is inspired by the Holy Spirit. The Bible is the instruction book for life and the best selling book of all time. It stands up to interrogation and many atheists who have set out to disprove the bible have actually converted to Christianity after closer study. It contains history, poetry, prophecy, geneology, teachings on wisdom and the future.
It was never made up - we were made to follow it.

All religion is man made. The xtian religion is actually a recycled model of older pagan faiths. Salvation, heaven and hell are ideas that have been around alot longer than xtianity. The idea of a god dying to "save" humankind in some way pre-dates xtianity too. Xtianity just perfected the guilt trip to get members and money. Take a look at the following website to see the details of the Pagan Origins of the Christ MYTH

The Council of Nicaea under the guidance of Constantine. He didn't want to follow the ways of the Jews, obeying Torah, but to keep the customs he already kept, like Easter and Winter solstice.

The history of the Christian Church is well documented.

One need only open one of those wacky book things to find the answers to these and other lazy questions.

Elaine Pagels has written entertaining, scholarly works on the subject, and there is of course Huston Smith's famous book.

it really is precisely what Christians do, regardless of the reality that, isn't it? They tell the Jews that the Christians recognize what the Jewish Bible capacity better than the Jews do. easily, Christianity is a mosaic - this is style of of of this and slightly of that. Mithra had his human beings devour of his flesh and drink of his blood. Osiris develop into resurrected. His mom, Isis, develop right into a virgin even as he develop into born. And on and on and ... (Even the beanies that the prelates placed on are Jewish yarmulkas. The stole is the Jewish prayer scarf.)

Acts 11:25-27 (King James Version)

25Then departed Barnabas to Tarsus, for to seek Saul:

26And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.
