Yes. Growing up we had a base radio with sideband and everything. My parents used to drag us kids to those "Coffee Breaks" they used to go to where a bunch of CBers would get together and shoot the bull. My handle was Snowbird. I also had a mobile CB. Later I changed my name to Wild child. We all used to put our handles and priority station on the back windows of our cars. So, mine read "Wild child................19". If you remember, 19 was the trucker's channel. Cb radio back then was so different than it is now. Today, there is no one monitoring it like there used to be and it is full of filth. Back then you could trust just about anyone who had a CB. It was like one big happy family. If you broke down, just hop on the CB and you'd get a dozen hits from fellow CBers willing to come to your aid. What an awesome memory. Thank you.
I still have my CB. But it is now tucked away with the rest of the memorabilia.
