dogs are pregnant for two months, so "around June" is just a silly way of saying you have no idea. perhaps you shouldn't be breeding. and if this vet is confusing you seek help from a different veterinary professional, not random people on the internet.

The average gestation period for a dog is 63 days so if your dog got pregnant in June she should have had her puppies in August. If it was the end of June then it would be the end of August that her pups should have been born. It is 2 weeks past that date.

I would suggest taking her to a different vet and have an xray taken to see if the pups are in fact still viable. If they are not then your dog is going to need surgery to remove the non-living pups or she could get seriously ill and even die from the decomposing fetuses.

If the puppies are still viable it is important to get an estimated delivery date for your dog and watch her closely for any problems. First things First though please please bring her to a different vet.

If it was June when she got pregnant then its too late for the puppies if they are still inside her then you need to get them out because it could be fatal to her....and no she more than likely won't be able to have puppies again because if it has been that long then she'll need to be spayed as for the vet go to a different one immediately before its to late. Best of Luck to you.

normally 63 days but you should make sure you know when you bred her and she should be having a good quality diet such as formula milk or a puppy food that is good to give to pregnant dogs this will be better for the pups, and i would sereously change my vet asap and get the dog to the new vet today

63 days. Any time short of that will result in premature puppies. Around June? You don't know? Have your dog spayed and don't ever allow this to happen again.

Vet told me around 62 days for a dog...

Please take your dog to another Vet... This don't sounds so good and have your dog fixed.. This should be done 1 month after she, stops nursing her puppies.
