If you take good care of it by washing and using lotion on it, the tat should be healed in a couple weeks. If it's just sore, it's probly fine but if there's still scabs and stuff like that from July, it could be infected. Infection happens ocasionally, I'd go back to your tatto artist and ask them about it. If it's actually infected go to a doctor asap! My advice would be to wash it and ad a coat of lubriderm a couple of times a day to keep it hydrated for a while. Hope things clear up.

The normal healing time is about two weeks, if it is still sore in some spots I would suggest that you go to the doctors. You can always go back to the tattoo shop that you had you tat done at and talk to them about it.
Hope this helps.

you may want to have that looked at...it may be infected. A tattoo is not u-like a minor abrasion and should heal within a week or 2 depending on your imune system. Basicaly, it damages the first few layers of skin creating a wound, which the ink is put into. if it is still tender you may have a minor infection in it.

It should be healed by now. If it is warm, puffy or red it could be infected.
