yes and you fit that bill to a T
young and stupid
you KNOW it's not going to last
so i hope you get creative when you have to retatoo over the name
when you do break up / divorce
BTW
there is no such thing as "soulmates"
that's a myth women ( and some dumb guys ) buy into..
as if there was...
there would not be the 85% divorce rate amoung the young like you
amnd the 50 to 65% divorce rate for the rest.

Hell no. My husband and I have been together for 21 years. We have 2 children and I wouldn't even consider getting his named tattooed on my body. Nor would I expect him to put my name on his body. I'm not against tattoos, I actually have one and my hubby has two. One of his has our sons' names in it. But getting a significant others' name tattooed on your body is just stupid. You never know what may happen in the future. And as far as "soul mates", give me a break. Is that something your girl friend has told you to think?

hell ive been married 2 1/2 years and my hubby and i agree no names. gawd forbid something go wrong down the line. if you feel you must get tatoos you can get have a yinyang or one a fish and one a dolphin or something to that effect. young and dumb 10 years from now will be 29 and regretful. it costs 10 times more to get a tatoo taken off, and hurts a lot more than to just not get someones name. it also tends to cost more to cover an old tatoo as it has to be bigger, darker etc to cover the old one.

No amount of years in a relationship can be enough to Tattoo your mates name on your body!!!!!!!!!! The only names I would think be appropriate are the names of your children. Break up's do happen and you are left with that name on your body until you can pay for a low effective, high cost removal.

Don't ever get a tattoo with the person you currently love name on any part of your body. You never know what can or will happen tomorrow.

Just remember, tattoos are not the easiest thing to get rid of. I'd say unless you are ready to be married, don't even think about them. Then even if you were ready to be married, I'd say wait another five years for the tattoos. Did I mention they are hard to get rid of?

My sister divorced after 25 years & she just remarried - I guess she's glad she didn't get a tattoo anytime in that first 25 years.

Think about beeing 29, or 39...... Explaining every time, what the tattoo stands for and who she was!
When i'm looking back, i'm glad to have no tattoo of my ex girlfriends

Never, Ever get a name tattooed on you. Unless it is your Mothers. You will only live to regret it.
But if you feel you have to, get it small and light, something easy to cover up.
