because most of the people on here dont know the answers to the real questions, and they do not care, they are only here for the points. so they go for the stupid questions

I don't mean to sound snooty or anything, but a lot of silly askers and silly answerers sort of gravitate together. I think they're mostly just kids having a good time being rascally. OTOH, I've seen some really thoughtful replies to thoughtful questions, and several times people have been kind enough to help me with my sincere questions.

Human beings have become lazy and refuse to use the brain power that was given to them by God. Because of this laziness, it is easier to just answer stupid questions that do not provoke any thought or real indepth reasoning.

Be patient. Most people hate to think to give a good answer and prefeer to joke around while intelligent questions wait for a reasonable and good answer after all.

Not everyone can be or is consistently motivated to be reasonable. But we're all stupid from the day that we're born. To achieve popularity, appeal to the lowest common denominator.

There are so many stupid questions, it's hard to find the real ones. Even when you think you have found one, people are sarcastic and rude.

Most reasonable questions require knowledge and don't allow anybody to stamp their opinion all over it. It denies them the chance to make the question about themselves rather than the question.
