Yeah, I took that at my church. It was a lot of fun and very informative. I learned lots of new things about Christianity and the Bible, and met a lot of really nice people. Plus we had a potluck along with the class. Yum!

I have heard positive and negative things about Alpha. What is really disturbing (on the Protestant side, anyway) is how the Roman Church has also embraced it, and uses it as a tool to bring their "Protestant brethren" back to Rome.

I would rather see churches preach the Word, and have strong discipleship, than rely on courses that have questionable theology and/or tactics involved.
