When I was 5 years old I attended a pre-school. We were taught all sorts of things but we focused on art. There, I would fold paper into shapes. I drew and I colored each item. I had not taken any more art classes since pre-school.

Two years ago we moved to the United States from our home in Korea. My mother insisted that I go to art class though I really did not want to go. I had no choice.

In art class, I learned to draw figures, how to use color and how to draw portraits. I have a natural talent for drawing portraits of people and I am very good at it. I have no idea where this skill comes from.

Now, I spend my leisure time drawing for my own enjoyment and to improve my skills.
