well, in my opinion there is no reason why a teenager should be overweight or worrying about a diet. be active, get up and go. starving yourself will only make you lose strenght and not weight. stay hydrated and run some miles. everything else will fall into place.

I recommend weight watchers. They have a point plan for teenagers and it really works. Nothing happens overnight....and besides, is 140 really a cause for a diet?? Also, cut out fast food and soda.
