Levay was just another guy like anyone else. Why should believe what he said?

I'm not a Christain. I don't give a crap about the Bible either.

Because he was a great thinker and philosopher. He never said things that one needed to "believe." He merely got you to stop and think about human nature and that it is perfectly o.k. to have the animalistic urges we have. It's natural. One should have no shame in being a human with all the instincts that come with it.

I'm not Satanist, but I'll try to answer this question to the best of my ability. Satanists are compelled to Satanism like Christians are compelled to Christianity. There's something about it that draws them to it. Christians are drawn to their thought of salvation. Satanists are (presumably) drawn to the idea that if something feels good, you should be able to do it, regardless of what the majority says. Yes, LeVay was just another guy. So was Jesus (in my opinion, Christians, please don't condemn me). But that doesn't prevent Christians from worshipping him. Likewise, LeVay is revered as a prophet (in a sense) by Satanists.

The bible was written by "just another guy" why should you believe it? Try letting others have their own beliefs. I'm not a satanist but they deserve their own beliefs too.
