Yes this is very bad for her. Put some meat tenderizer on the cat food. It will stop her form eating it. My dogs use to it too. I have put a gate up in the where the box is and that has helped allot. They do not jump over to it. If you have a litter box that is covered and had a door on the front might help. Mine will not go through the door.

Try to put the litter box in an enclosed area or put up a gate so the cat can get to it but the dog can't. It is practically impossible to train a dog to stop eating out of the litter box. If your cat has any intestinal parasites your dog will get them from eating cat poo. Besides that, it is just plain nasty to have your dog run up to you all happy and lick you across the face and then you see the kitty litter crumbs on his chin.
