Regardless of your opinions about world events, it is unlikely that you are in a position to do anything of deep significance to change them. However, when you take reponsibility for your own attitude and emotions from one moment to the next, you are actively helping to raise the overall vibrations of the planet at this time, which does indeed have a direct effect upon the consciousness of all involved.

Very true. Living consciously (which is the basic phrase I hear Hindus and Buddhists use to basically sum up what you just said) is very essential!

I appreciate the subtle sentiment of your second statement, but your first is defeatist. Why would you resign yourself to believing that you are not in a position to, as you put it, "do anything of deep significance"? If everyone believed they could do nothing of deep significance, why would would they bother trying? Get up and go do something to advance what you believe--I don't care what it is! Do you think that MLK and Gandhi sat around worrying about "overall vibrations"? No. Take action, that's what makes a difference.

Well we do come from the dust of the earth so I can understand where you are coming from. I like the way you put things, you sound like you understand that we are all responsible for each other. I like that, so everyone, only good thoughts from now on, only pity for those who hate and want to destroy and lets all pray for them in such a great big voice of love that all that hate will no longer understand why they felt the need for it in the first place.
