Society, media, music, pop culture blindly brain wash everyone into thinking that is what it takes to find the right one. And that once you get it out of your system, you won't want it from others once you are married. BS!

I think that's an urban myth.
SOME men would sleep with a different woman every day, given the opportunity. Most, however, prefer to be monogamous.
Some women, BTW, sleep with several men every day. Some of those are not even prostitutes!
There is an old belief that men must "sow their wild oats", e.g. get it out of their system, before they could settle down, and stay monogamous. In fact, many cultures promoted this. European cultures do not frown on prostitution as do we Americans, because they see it as a public service. .

Men in general, I said in general (meaning not all) and horndogs. It is just the way the male human is wired. A farmer likes to spread his seeds. Come to think of it I know a couple of women like that too.

mostly its an ego thing...they want to know that they CAN get a lot of women to sleep with them before they commit to just one...its alos known as testing the waters. some women do the same thing

I guess it's that society puts a big value on having "experience".
I like different women too, but if I had "the one", then I wouldn't need anyone else.

men are territorial creatures. whatever thing that makes them stand out in the crowd, they'll do it. it's a machismo thing. and if scoring with as many women is a way to stand out, they'll do it.
to me, it acomplishes nothing, other than bragging rights. nothing more. but hey, that's just me...

what's wrong with seeing what's out there until you find that one person to settle down with? this goes both ways too. there's nothing wrong with sex as long as both parties are willing and able.

i dunno about what i might do, but if the first girl i dated and slept with is the one i want to marry, so be it. If the 29th girl i slept with is the one, so be it. But i will not run away from commit ment just for more sex, like other guys.
