Last week at the bar I ran into my old nightmare date, (her name is Tess). She sassed me and told the regulars that I she had sex with me and I had an "itty bitty" penis. Well, I cursed her out, she burst into tears and the regulars were pissed at me. Well, tonight I went to the bar, and these two men were staring me down. I asked June Bug (the bartender) what was their problem, and he mentioned to me that they were Tess's brothers. Well, before I knew it, I felt a blow to the back of my head. When I went to stand up, one of her brothers kicked me in the back and said "git!" Well, I swung back, and they mouthed off but then stopped. June Bug told us to cool it before he called the law. Well, I told the brothers that Tess and I went on one date, it wasn't a good match and that's that. They told me I was "gonna git it." Should I notify the police? Or, should I go and visit Tess, and apologize to her, and end this squabble? Or, should I just fight?

First of all, she had no business saying what she said, so she threw the first punch, at least you cursed her out, instead of hitting her. If anybody needs to apologize, it's her. If you go to her and apologize, it wouldn't be coming from your heart and it would appear, that you're only apologizing because you're scared. I would tell the police, just for the record, in case something happened to you, then that way, it's been documented that you said you were threatened by them. More importantly, try not to go anywhere by yourself and if you do, make sure people are around to witness their actions, if they attack you. You need to be very careful, never let your guard down if time passes by, without them bothering you, it could be that they're wanting you to think that they have forgotten about it and catch you off guard. If you do go somewhere alone, always tell somebody where you're going and carry a cell phone for easy access, to call the police, of course if they catch you off guard a cell phone won't do you any good, if all else fails, RUN!

Dude, they atacked you in a public place in front of witnesses.
File asult charges, get a restraining order and then piss them off to fight again. If the law comes or you make a second complaint it is big trouble for them.
Oh yea, screw tess. That damn hore has to hide behind her brothers after she belittles you. She probably put them up to it.

Good night! Where are you from??? Tess sounds like she is nucking futs and it would be better to avoid that crazy lady at all costs. Obviously she has a talent for lying, and no one is going to believe you over her. I would find a different watering hole, unless you are a good fighter.

noone is worth getting your *** kicked over so just stay away from tess and her family...if they continue to harass you, get a restraining order
