Everyone has their own interpreptation on what a good Christian would do. Many are far more educated as Christians than I am. They all think they have they way, they know the way -- and that way, they claim, is really simple if you just understand what the Bible teaches. (It is the others who don't understand, are false prophets, etc.) But if it really is so simple, than why is there so much disagreement between even sincere Christians? Perhaps there is no clear path -- or perhaps, a proper path has not even been left (as applicable to worldly affairs)?

Jesus' fundamental message is: the kingdom of heaven is within you...ask,seek,knock...and it will become available to you! So ask, seek, knock...several times each day via questions, prayer/meditation, and clear inner dialogue with God...for the gifts of heaven such as love, wisdom, peace of mind, joy, clarity, abundance etc. (whatever you regard as a heavenly quality), and they will gradually become part of you. You will be led and taught...from within and without...your character will change over months...you will grow more spiritual in every way...and you will learn how to find the correct spiritual action in every situation.<><><>The technique outlined above is simple to apply but it requires dedication, self-awareness and the desire to change in the long term. It has to be your chief goal and you have to work on your character as heavenly qualities start emerging from within.<><><>Those who tell you that Jesus' path works overnight, or is a simple case of reading the Bible, are sadly deluded. Peace!

True Christians all agree on the most important thing. A belief that Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life and no one enters heaven without Him. There is only one way and the truth is given by God through the Holy Spirit, to every believer.

Quite honestly, the more you study the bible, the more clear it is how to deal with anything that comes along in life. I can't say that I've ever had something come up that I didn't know immediately what to do. The answer was usually to do something not easy, i.e., give up my being right, not return evil for evil, keep my mouth shut, let someone else go first, don't take credit, etc. The bible tells us exactly what to do. It's usually the doing of it that hurts because we have to deny ourselves.

He didn't gave us to much free will, didn't he?
I AM THE WAY
Sounds so... megalomaniac.

If it is So simple, why don´t just Christians and the church follow it instead of going to crusades end exorcising (aka torturing to death) everyone that is different?

A priest once said to my Ethics professor that he was the best christian he had ever meet, and he was pretty aware that my teacher is an atheist!

Jesus wants us to follow him, but he never said it would be clear, simple, or easy. "Eye of a needle" and all that...

I think that what Jesus wants is for us to follow him to the very best of our ability and when we fail, to get up, ask forgiveness, learn, and go forward.
