The Buffalo Bills play the Miami Dolphins in their next game (big rivalry)

If I pray to Jesus to let the Bills win, and my friend prays for the Dolphins to win... what happens?

Do they cancel out?
Does it matter who prays harder? Like an arm(en)-wrestling match?

Oh, and do you think that if I pray to Mary as well, that she'd help me cover the spread?

Don't pray to Mary, Joeseph is the patron saint of Buffalo, so I'd start with him.

FYI, God doesn't care about football, He's a hockey fan. Hence no ice in hell.

Hi devlsadvo...

God does not hear the prayer of a sinner.

Joh 9:31 Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.
1Jo 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
Jam 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.
Deu 5:12 Keep the sabbath day to sanctify it, as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee.

I know that you are a sinner or you would not have ask such a stupid question. I'm sure that you don't keep the Sabbath Holy. That alone makes you a sinner. Dumb, dumb question...... Mary is DEAD--DEAD--DEAD. Dead people cannot hear prayers.....Only God can answer prayers.

I think it's a toss up, you will probably get the same results either way.

Just be thankful that the Bills aren't as bad as the Raiders... see life can always get worse!

Hmm good point about the spread.. that reminds me I need to go make my college & pro game picks...

Two huge believing armies prayed for their victories, and God did satisfy both. Otherwise, how can He be the omnipotent God of all people?
You know that God is not ignorant like us, but He is omniscient. For the sincere troops, God granted them victory by allowing all to be killed and taking their souls to heaven.
For the insincere troops, God allowed them to return with great pride in a banquet of wine, they gradually get drowned in it, and their souls went straight to hell.
So, before and after praying, please check carefully the state of your soul.

Who wins at football is "persona-non-grata" among the league owners in favor of more important things (world power, etc..). They all figure that only one team out of 30+ teams is going to win so let the luck fall where it may. On the other hand, ...........

i think its whoever prays & finishes fastest.
i mean.. God = 1 being.
