It doesnt have to be know like on the first date, but a soon as the two of you are taking about having a serious relationship the it should be brought up and he should be able to give his experience level as well. Me I want to know for the pure fact that safe sex is about knowing who your partner has been with since you'll be sleeping with everyone they have been with.

I would think, that honestly at the beginning of a relationship that should be the last thing a guy would want to know. How about being up front if the situation arose, and its always the girls call on sexual intimacy...If your not that experienced, it should not matter, what time of the relationship it is...just what you want to do.

At the first moment she was comfortable telling me and/or the subject came up. If she's not comfortable talking about it or telling me, that's OK (though it should definitely be before we first have sex) but I do not want to be lied to or deliberately misled.
Hopefully you will have established a good line of communication in your relationship by now and will be able to discuss what you do and don't feel comfortable talking about.

It's not that important to me. I'm not just dating a gal for sex, so if she isn't very experienced... it wont bother me. Guys will figure it out naturally if you dont tell us. If we are having sex with you...and you just lay there... yeah...its kinda obvious. Dont worry about it.

Wow, you ARE an evil princess.
I think I'd be able to tell almost immediately so really it's not a question of timeliness.

Sometime before having sex I guess, but not necessarily as the opening conversation of a date.

when it is getting close to the time you would be starting to have sex. Maybe a couple of dates before you think you are ready
