kryos means cold, chilly

but NOT frozen

but it can be used methaphoricaly to characterize a person that is not very easy to get, not openhearted - some kind of snob

The best way to put it is to say "frozen" as in suspended in time.

i agree with tolitsa..we also use it for the weather,cold weather.and frozen is pagomenos by the way,not kryos..!!
