I HAVE BEEN TALKING TO THIS GUY FOR 7 MONTHS OR MORE AND YES I DID HAVE FEELINGS FOR HIM AT FIRST AND NOW I KNOW ITS THE END BECAUSE GIRLS KEEP POPING UP BUT THE ONLY THING IS THAT I DON'T KNOW HOW TO JUST STOP PICKING UP THE PHONE AND CALLING HIM EVEN WHEN HE DOESN'T HAVE TIME FOR ME I FEEL LIKE I SHOULD CALL HIM AND I WANT TO MOVE ON FASTER I MEAN WHEN I FIRST FOUND OUT HE HAD ANOTHER GIRL ON THE SIDE I STAYED BUT NOW I JUST CANT DO IT ANY MORE. AND SLOWLY I MOVE AWAY FROM HIM BUT I WANT IT TO GO FASTER CUZ I KNOW HE DOESN'T CARE ABOUT ME. HELP ITS HARD TO GET HIM OUT OF MY HEAD AND I THINK ABOUT HIM 24/27 BUT I KNOW IT WONT WORK.

Ooops. First, This guy is neglecting you. Recognize that. If you welcome that level of abuse, he will never respect you and that means he won't love you back. You need to pack up and move on, dont return some of his calls. Then when he gets anxious to talk to you, be busy and don't make time for him. To some of you this may seem cruel but he does have another girl on the side and he isn't spending time with our curious george(ina?)

First of all, turn off the caps keys on your computer. It's like your screaming at us! Second, once you fall in love with someone you don't really ever get over them. Instead when things don't work out, you move on. You get busy with other things (school, work, community service, friendships, etc.) When you move on your feelings begin to fade and if you're lucky, you're left with good memories of a love that got away.

First, I congratulate you for realizing that it won't work instead of putting a lot of effort and hope into something that is doomed.
I wish I had a better answer for you as to getting him out of your head but the fact is that the best thing is TIME. It would be great if you could flip a switch and it would be done but that is not reality. Take one day at a time...try to be patient. Best of luck.

I have good news and bad news.
BAD NEWS : you'll never get over him. he'll always be there in your heart and memory.
GOOD NEWS : he'll eventually occupy a much more smaller part in your memory and heart. and it takes time...a lot of time.
how to do it? keep yourself busy with other stuff (and other people). when the urge to call comes, fight it. think of it as a challenge. FIGHT IT!!!
let time and (new and old) friends help you get over him. take the whole thing as a living experience. learn from it. see and analyze what you did wrong and right. it'll make you a better person.
be strong.

When you start to consider calling him.. Think of him as an anchor.. and he is holding you down..You'll drown if you don't cut it off hon. Let him go. Swim to the top..
You will always have the part of you that loves him.. Even after you've been hurt beyond belief. You have to put yourself first now.. not him.. You have to do what makes you complete with out him.

Respect yourself and know that you deserve more from a relationship. Don't move away from him slowly, just cut stop all of it. Stop calling, stop seeing. It is obvious that moving away slowly isn't going to work for you. Just pull the band-aid quickly!

I almost have the same problem but i realized that if he didnt love me enough to just pick up the phone and just call me every one in awhile then he didnt love me enough or deserve me. You deserve better im sure theres someone out there whos dieing to love you.

My ex is doing what you are doing and I can't stand it. I hate when he calls me. So, I went out today and purchased an answering machine phone. Best of luck honey but move on.
