If the Bible is a STANDARD, then all religions will have to be measured to IT and the precepts found within its pages. It is like building a fence. You have a starter post, or a standard by which you measure all the other posts by. If you come up long or short, then you do not change the standard, you change the added posts. The standard is the guide and cannot be changed.
When people say certain religions are false, it is usually because there are things which do not measure up to the standard.
For example, the Roman Catholic Church teaches infant baptism. NO where in the Bible do you see infant baptism. It is just not there, totally absent. They get it from their own made traditions.
If people make up their own religion as they choose and please, then the standard is used to know what is false and what is true.

No one does, I totally agree. And to go around declaring another faith or faiths or lack thereof as wrong like it's indisputable fact is the ultimate in arrogance. I think by doing so some people deep inside hope to be able to put themselves on the same level as the God or Gods they worship. Sorry everyone, I got news for you: None of us are Deities.
I have no problem with someone saying that my faith is wrong, since their opinion of my faith is just that...their opinion. It holds no weight with me and I don't answer to anyone about my beliefs except my Gods. I mean who are they to presume that they know what goes on in the mind of their God? (And yes I am sure they'll refer to the Bible or some other holy text depending on their religion, but keep in mind those texts were written by man...and it's been a long time since those texts were written. Times change, people change...and Gods change.) It's just hubris, it's what it is.

Each religion has its good and bad sides.
The religious leaders play up what is good about their religion and cover up what's defective about it. Only Allah, God, Yahweh or whatever you call Him has sole authority to declare a religion as false. In fact, God won't be interested in what your religious background is. He's going to be more interested if you've been faithful to Him and have done good to others which benefits others and makes you a better person for it.
No offense meant to the Chrisitan faith, but Christians were the first to throw the first stone with regards to this matter. Christians always tell how other peoples' religion are wrong based on this and that verse and yet Chrisitans can't police their own bad eggs who put dark stains on Christianity's white robe.
Same probably with Islam, but at least we didn't start the Crusades in which Christians butchered and raped Muslims and Jews in their quest to re-take Jerusalem.
Christians bash the Buddhist because of a simple technicality...they don't have God or Jesus. Yet, Buddhist are more tolerant of them. I thought Christianity was about tolreance and respect for others?
Mahatma Gandhi was thrown off a train in South Africa because of his color...the people who threw him off a train were white Christians. So much for tolerance.
My grandparents were devout Roman Catholic Chrisitans and yet they were murdered through passive involuntary euthanasia. The people who administered this were their own son and daughters who are devout Catholics too.
My point for all religions:
Police and correct your own respective s-c-r-e-w ups before going out to preach your dogma and doctrine. That way, no one can put a microscope on you and find out some little dirt on your "Mr. Clean" persona.

it is exciting to look you employ the word community land, basically as Hitler did, that's a signature word of fascists. are you able to have confidence approximately somebody utilising it pre 9/11, basically as they did no longer use it in Germany till ultimately the Nazis gained in. it may additionally be scary to look relatively how hastily persons is often stirred up with primitive urges. Do you spot that your pondering, shallow despite if it incredibly is, has been manipulated for the period of the mass media. The powers of reasoning, of the 1000's are tragic to behold. do no longer you experience that if it was once incredibly that Muslims were inherently terrorists, any guy or woman could have achieved something via now? you have significant all the comments approximately business enterprise or place of work mass shootings, yet your undemanding experience won't stretch as far as to observe that it is reachable to dedicate a terrorist act, something your race or creed, .....and that i do no longer think approximately any of those gunmen being Muslim.

I believe if the Bible is the written word of God and a religion does not teach people to live according to the complete Bible I would suggest it as wrong.
It is true that only God can ultimately judge who is saved, but he left plenty of words He has spoken in His word the Bible to differentiate what is right and what is wrong.
How do we know killing is wrong, or robbery? It is written in the Bible and God says it is wrong.
So if a religion teaches that killing is good. I would say that religion is wrong on that point.

In my opinion, everyone is entitled to their own. It's not right nor wrong for anyone to assume that their religion is the right one.
Everyone believes in G-d, no matter what you may call Him. I think only the people that choose to be a particular religion have the rights to change whatever religions they choose too be.
If that means that they are Holier Than Tho, so be it. But in my book I am whatever I choose too be.
I know what I believe in....I believe in G-d,,,How about you?

No, no one has that authority.
Unfortunately, people who embrace a religion often swallow
the negatives said about other religions.
AND, even the really *smart* people consider their reasoning
to be at such a high level that they have convinced themselves they can judge other people. This is a religion of reason.
No matter what intellectual framework your "huge" mind may construct, you cannot prove or disprove something such as faith.
- neither christian nor atheist...(I suppose there's some contrived intellectual framework that says my position is impossible...If I could just intellectualize enough I might realize I'm impossible and vanish)

God has the Authority to exclude people from heaven for all eternity. So those of us who are followers feel a special responsibility to not allow people to perish in the lake of fire forever without at least a warning.
