Why are lots of White People Greedy? Is that nature?

Lots of white people I know love $ too much. All they talk about is how they are going to make an extra dollar. They seem to forget about the beautiful things of life. I cant even hang out with my white friends anymore. They make me feel like I need to worry about $. I make good money, but I do not feel like I need it to make me happy. Are you guys naturally and historicly greedy or is this something your parents teach you? Look at all the corporations damaging the earth....They are all run by white people.

White people, please dont beat around the bush.....Answer this question truthfully. You guys know exactly what I am talking about when I say you are greedy. Please dont put your feelings into your answer.....FACTS PLEASE! I have posted this under pets because I know that you people like pets more than some ethnic groups.

I do not mean they are not hard workers. They have plenty dont mind exploiting people to make more $

We're generally quite spoiled. In America, as a land of surpluss, we get caught up in wanting material possessions as we grow, surrounded by whatever we want.
It's human sin nature.
I know you said "lots of" white people and not "all" white people, and I appreciate the lack of stereotyping and generalization. You've brought a very applicable issue to the table.

Besides the fact that this question is being based on sterotypes, I think that I have to agree with you. Most stereotypes have a reason for being there in the first place.

I think that greed is something that is mostly taught to children though. I've always been left to figure thins out on my own and I chose a path that was a lot different from my parents. My brother, on the other hand, was cradled and given everything from birth, so he is a very greedy and materialistic person.

Whites also usually want to do better than the last generation did. We pass on the torch and expect the flame to grow. If you look in history, whites have always been some of the greediest sons of bitches out there.

But all people can be greedy. Most people place emphasis on money. Your friends probably suck as people, you are probably racist, and you are definitely an ***. Saying that white people like pets more than other people is like saying that all blacks and hispanics/latinos need a pitbull or a rotweiler and a car with hydraulics.

That's about as honest as it gets.

A question like this doesn't really have a statistical answer. Yes they can give percentages for things like certain health problems being more likely in certain races. For example, there is scientific evidence that the rate of multiple births is higher in African Americans than any other race. It's genetic, it's nothing they have done that makes them more likely to have twins, triplets etc. Greed isn't something that you're born with, it's not in your genes. It depends on how you are raised, and if you're brought up thinking that money is all you need to make you happy. It's not fair of you to assume that all white people are greedy. I don't know what race you are, but lets say your race is "X". How about if someone said , "All "X" are criminals." That wouldn't be fair now would it? There are criminals, racists, chauvinists etc in ALL races. Greed doesn't have a race preference. It overcomes those who allow it to.

Are all black people stupid and uneducated? Are all Mexicans lazy welfare leeches that refuse to learn english? Cause thats exactly the same question you are asking, just different ethnicities and stereotypes in place of the ones you are using. Maybe you just have a set of super lame friends. Why were you friends with people you dont like in the first place? I doubt they all suddenly up and changed on you. Ever think that you attract people like that cause maybe you are a shallow racist snob? Perhaps your parents should have taught you not to generalize and lunp everyone into a single group based on color. Research those corporations, see who is really behind them. Still all whites? Well, then maybe you are right-White people ARE greedy. And blacks are too stupid and uneducated to be in charge of a corporation.And the Mexicans are just too damn lazy to work at all. Wow, that's incredibly racist. Not being emotional, just an observation. I am not now, nor have I ever been rich. I get by, but it sounds like you have a good environment for financial success and all you can do is dis' it. Maybe you should take a lesson about utilizing the tools available to you. You can enjoy life easier with a little cushion in your portfolio.
One of the great joys in life is achievement. Nothing to wag your tongue at here. If you can learn to manage your finances with these friends, do so. It will make you, not happier, but more able to be happy.

i take it that u are not white? well i am German and Italian! WHITE as far as I'm concerned. but u want to know or maybe assume that white people are greedy. i dont see how any person of any race is not concerned about making more money. u need to run a poll and ask for votes on the question.."how many people think each and everyday, how to make and save more money?" why do u think we are greedy? because we dont spend our whole paycheck every Friday on 15cases of CORONA?

this question looked as though it would produce and are available off as fairly racist. i'm white and my step-kin is all hispanic. I dont think of that its honest to declare a undeniable race are grasping. As an entire, I dont think of white human beings are. each and every physique has greed to a undeniable volume. i've got faith the way you phrased your question, or maybe your questioning customarily is going via ability of what you're around. I think all people are greedy to an extent, not just white people. Everyone wants to have financial security to be able to have the things they want and need. People need money to survive. Money doesn't equal happiness, but it makes things a lot easier. At least your friends are willing to work to make the extra money they need. Most people just want money to be handed to them.

hahahah... a lot of white people that I know are quite poor. But, to answer your question, I think anybody who grows up in a certain economic class is going to do their best in life to maintain that. People naturally settle towards what they're used to.

And money is important and getting more important everyday. The more our technology, science, and medicine progresses only means more important things that money can buy.

I personally am not greedy, nor is my husband and family. I tithe each week, I give to many charities, and the rest of my money goes to groceries and bills such as power, water, trash. I also have 2 children that I have to feed and cloth. I don't have enough money to be greedy.

I think your question is very racist and I don't like being clumped with other people.
