It seems I have to answer your question because many people misinterpet the Bible.

For starters: The Bible says (Matt.2:2)Jesus was/is a Jew.
Don't people understand that we have to (Col.2:6; 1Pet.2:21)follow Jesus.

Now Jesus couldn't eat ham and will not eat anything unclean ever. If you're a true christian; you would do the same. I don't eat anything unclean either!

** TEXTS THAT INVOLVE THE CLEAN AND UNCLEAN MEATS:
GEN.18:7-8; LEV.11; 20:25; DEUT.14; ISAIAH 66:17; EZEK.22:26; DAN.1:8; MATT.3:4; LUKE 24:41-43; ACTS 10:10-14; 1COR.3:16-17; 9:27; 2COR.6:17; AND REV.21:8.

Most take their time by doing what they want; no matter if it hurts their body or not. It seems to them it doesn't matter, but watch out people; when the Lord comes back he will (Isaiah 66:15-17)plead with you not to do those things. If you still do, the Lord will kill you.

The unclean animals were considered to be unclean because of diseases that they carried. If you see a pig; it eats the slop of the earth. Also a lobster carries diseases because it's at the bottom of the ocean floor where it eats all the junk. Here's more information in these sites why people should't eat these unclean creatures:

After Jesus died and rose again, everything was made ceremonially clean.

Which most Jews do not believe Jesus is the Messiah, so they are still living in the Old Testament time. which forbades them for touching and eating pork.

Gentiles took on the term, Christian, which gentiles are not under Jewish law, therefore they could touch pigs and eat pork. Since they were not Jewish they didn't look at that law.

Jesus is a Jew, so no he would not eat ham.

Well in the book of Acts in the Bible, God revealed to Paul that what He calls "holy" Paul could not. He had given Paul a vision of all sorts of foods that Jews were forbidden from eating (it's not just ham) and told Paul to eat. Paul said "No! It's unlawful!" That's when God explained that the laws of the past were no longer necessary, and neither was excluding Gentiles, as they had done in the past. Paul started preaching to non-Jews at that point, and that is when Christianity started being spread throughout the world.

Jesus was Jewish, but introduced new philosophies to the world--and his followers eventually were called CHRISTians, and it has been said that Paul was the biggest single factor to Christianity's spread. So that's my history lesson for the day. There will NOT be a pop quiz, I promise.

Jesus was under the Law of Moses. He had to follow all the requirements of that particular law. When He died He did so to fulfill that law, pay the sin debt the Israelites owed to God. Once that was fulfilled, the law of Moses was taken out of force and the Law of Christ, or covenant of Christ was placed in force.

There are NO dietary laws with the exception of eating blood or meat from something strangled, under the covenant of Christ. He could not break the law of Moses which was full of dietary restrictions due to having what God had deemed as clean/unclean animals..

Now, as followers of Christ and His new covenant, we are able to eat most anything. There is no such thing as clean/unclean animals.

Jesus (pbuh) always followed the laws of God.

Peter, one night, had a dream about animals coming down from heaven, and a voice told him to eat. From this, the early Christian church decided that it would now be permissable to discard the laws of clean or unclean animals.

Also, Jesus said (my paraphrase) "It is not what goes into the mouth that makes a man clean or unclean, but what comes out from the mouth. what a man eats passes through his body, but what he speaks comes from his heart"

No Jesus could not eat Ham. Because they have no understanding? I am a christian and I do not eat ham or anything else that the Lord tells us not to eat. The dietary law is not dead we still have to follow it.

You know, it's sad... my dad was(still is) a mentally ill hardcore christian when I was growing up. I didn't have a real hot dog until I was 17 and away from home. Never had real bacon until I was 18 and sharing an apartment with a real-bacon-eating friend! I also never got to have shellfish or anything like that until I was out on my own. I don't know if Jesus ate pork. And I don't care. I'm not religious, but what other purpose did god intend for pigs if we are not supposed to eat them????

He could, but he might not have eaten it because it would affend the jews. I don't eat meat on fridays when I'm around catholics during lint because it would take my credibility away from their perspective. I think Jesus would have done the same for the Jews

Many who profess to be of the Christian faith do hypocritical things. Some are quite found of regurgitating verses from Leviticus that condemn homosexuality, yet they ignore other parts of Leviticus that proclaim that eating shellfish is an abomination. They apparently think the Bible is there for them to choose which parts to believe.

Were pigs even common back then in Jesus's time? If nobody ate pork-why would there be pigs and swineherds?Think about it.
