Definition: Before leaving the earth, Jesus Christ promised to return. Thrilling wvents in connection with God's Kingdom are associated with that promise. It should be noted that there is a difference between coming and presence. thus, while a person's coming (associated with hes arrial or return) occurs at a given time, his presence may thereafter extend over a period of years. In the Bible the Greek word er'kho-mai (meaning "to come") is also used with reference to Jesus directing his attention to an important task at a specific time during his presence, namely, to his work as God's executoner at the war of the great day of God the Almighty.

Do the events associated with Christ's presence take place in a very brief time or over period of years?
Matt. 24:37-39 "Just as the days of Noah were, so the presence -Greek= pa-rou-si'a- of the son of man will be. For as they were in those days before the flood, eating and drinking, men marrying and women being given in marriage, untill the day that Noah entered into the ark; and they took no note untill the flood came and swept them all away, so the presence of the son os man will be." ( The events os " the days of noah" that are sedcribed here took place over a period of many years. Jesus compared his presence with what occurred back then).
At Matthew 24:37 the Greek word pa-rou-si'a is used. Literally it means a "Being alongside". Liddell and scott's greek-English Lexicon (Oxford, 1968) gives "presence, of persons", as its first definition of pa-rou-si'a. The sense of the word is clearly indicated al Philippians 2:12, Where Paul contrasts his presence (pa-rou-si'a)

With his absence (a-pou-si'a). On the other hand, in Matthew 24: 30, which tells of the "son of man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great flory" as God's executioner at the war of Armageddon, the greek word
er-kho'me-non is used. Some translators use "coming" for both Greek aords, but those that are more careful convey the difference betwen the two.

WILL CHRIST RETURN IN A MANNER VISIBLE TO HUMAN EYES?
John 14:19 "A little longer and the world will behold me no more, but you [Jesus' faithful apostles] will behold me, because i live and you will live." (Jesus had promised his apostles that he would come again and take them to heaven to be with him. They could see him because they would be spirit creatures as he is. But the world no see hem AGAIN. Compare 1 Timothy 6:16
ACTS 13:34 "He [God] resurrected hem [Jesus] from the dead destined no more to return to corruption". (Human bodies are by nature CORRUPTIBLE. That is why 1 Corinthains 15:44 uses the work "CORRUPTION" in paralles construction with " physical body". Jesus will NEVER AGAIN HAVE SUCH A BODY.)

It's hard for me to understand your question but yes he will come personally and will stay and reign 1000 years. Is that what you were asking?
Matthew 24: 29-30 states
Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
The world is wicked and getting worse. People in general are not heeding the warning sings the Lord is giving us that we must improve our ways or perish. In the days of Noah the people were wicked and did not heed the warnings of the prophet. The people are just as wicked now and are getting worse. They will not heed the warnings today any more than they did then and will be destroyed but not by water this time but by fire. There are still events that have to happen according to scripture before He comes again but I feel the time is close, maybe even in my or my children’s lifetime.

er'kho-mai (meaning "to come") - "echo my (friend)"- did you hear it? and God wants to know if you fear it. Isaiah 4:57 God rules heaven. God will soon ask, no worry, He is the jury. Patience is the name of the game, and not the kind from the doctor...he will soon send the proctor. You take the buddhist r and get in the car; turn the key and try to see, wipe the win and see the jinn, just do not sin! The rest of the stuff is at the inn. You hope the car did start that day you had a good heart. God makes the river...it is up to you to see if you bump your head at the bottom on a big rock as you flow down it, and then it splits. Hot or cold? As if the story had been foretold. I think we are just missing the revelation

In Acts chapter 1 you will find that an angel told the disciples that he would return in the "same manner" in which he left. A VISIBLE descent from Heaven. This is the same thing that Matthew chapter 24 teaches, also read Luke chapter 21. Revelations tells us that he will rule and reign for 1000 years. If you will please compare the events of the opening of the sixth seal in Revelations to the events of Matthew 24 and Mark 13.

In every religion there are people who are waiting for their prophet to come in a promised day. All are waiting. In fact all religions are waiting for one person not different but they don't know. In the Bible or in other holy books there are said exactly that who is this person and when to come but not clearly. Because God wants that people think and find the Glory Of God. The person has some signs that proves he is the promised one. And know he has come. But you must not think very easy about the text script in Bible. These are written for the people of around 2000 ago because they were not as developed as we are today. If you Study Baha'i Teachings you will understand all the matters regarding the returning of Jesus. There is a Book called "Mufawadat Abdul-Baha" collected by "Laura Clifford Barney" that all your answer is in it with complete explanations and proved according to the Bible. If you did not find the book mail me at Badi_F@Yahoo.com to send you e-book.

It is there in Hindu Philosophy also. I always compare Christian Religion with Hindu Religion. for Egg. Taking bath of 7 times in a Holy water tank to sink the sin of leprosy , I always think about Hindu Philosophy of 7 births . Such miracles can be done only by those who spiritually elevated human beings. What we need is just blind faith , have kind heart, serve the needy. Such positive approach are gradually going out of the hearts of Human beings. Either Scientific Advancement ( we think so. Nothing can be created by man without God's grace. ), or the narrow path to lead the universe to negative world. I think the time of arrival of "God" , you call "Jesus" or X or Y Z, will depend upon the negative impact of society.

No, if he became we would have recognized him, do not ignore we've been quite in pick for the Messiah, there became no reason to not different than him apart from the reality the it wasn't him. The Jewish Messiah would be a actual descendant of King David, he would be a protection rigidity chief in Israel, he will win wars for us, he will deliver to the creation of the third temple and he will deliver international peace. there is not any way of understanding who the Messiah would be via fact in each and every era there's a skill Messiah. while the time is physically powerful, as quickly as we deserve it the main or as quickly as we pick it the main he will upward push in his era and stay as much as his finished skill, then each and every physique will understand who he's. The Torah states the names of each and every of the Jewish prophets, if Jesus became what Christians declare he became then his call ought to look there a minimum of as many circumstances as Moses does, it does not look whilst quickly as. Please circulate away the translation of the Torah to the Jews and the Bible to the Christians, while the Messiah comes we are able to ask him if he's been right here formerly.

Questions about Jesus, or Questions designed to convert or recruit people to Jesus are simply a waste of time. People have already decided for the most part if they believe in the fiction written in the bible. People who feel God talks to them have psychological problems because hearing voices is a psychological illness. %-}

He will return during the Golden Age after the armies and governments of the current world are destroyed. He will teach and govern for another forty years and then will be the "executioner" of God's will on the day of judgment. Each person will be saved or condemned by their own actions during their life.

i noe how he'll return:
The world is going to enter a sage of chaos. Everyone is going to think theres no hope left. But the son of Satan, Damian, is going to be born. hes going to try and persuade everyone that he is the answer to all this chaos and that he will help u escape the chaos. but its a trick. this is sort of God's test. its up to u to choose to follow Damian because he sed hes the "answer" or suffer a little for God. Remember, he suffered for us, u can do the same for him. the way u choose to follow Damian is by getting the mark of the beast a.k.a 666. This is when God will return. He returns after everyone had made their choise as to follow Satan or Him. if he sees u have the beast mark, he will not take u. he will only take the chosen few. the rest with the beast mark will have to suffer for betraying God.
Hope that answers ur question. Mark as best answer please and thank you =] God Bless

I don't know just how He's returnig. It's good of you to point out that there's a difference between coming and presence, but, on that topic, there's also a difference between coming and going, but so what?
