18 and say, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD: “Woe to the women who sew magic charms on their sleeves[a] and make veils for the heads of people of every height to hunt souls! Will you hunt the souls of My people, and keep yourselves alive? 19 And will you profane Me among My people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, killing people who should not die, and keeping people alive who should not live, by your lying to My people who listen to lies?” 20 ‘Therefore thus says the Lord GOD: “Behold, I am against your magic charms by which you hunt souls there like birds. I will tear them from your arms, and let the souls go, the souls you hunt like birds. 21 I will also tear off your veils and deliver My people out of your hand, and they shall no longer be as prey in your hand. Then you shall know that I am the LORD.

Face the wrath of WHICH god? Look, you can't use Biblical evidence to convince people who don't believe in the Bible of anything. You can't threaten a pagan with Hell, for instance, because they don't believe in it. This cuts both ways. I can't convince Christians that there are multiple gods because they think all the other gods are false, or Satan having a good laugh. If, therefore, I wanted to convince you that you'd have to watch out for a certain god, I'd have to convince you first that the god EXISTS, and not just jump right in with something like "Odin is going to smite you, it says so right here in tihs book you've never heard of." If you want to convince pagans that they're wrong, you'll have to begin with things we can all accept as true, and move on from there.

If I ever have to face your God's wrath, well, I am pretty sure I'll have backup.

I will not face the wrath of your "God" as I do not beleive he exists therefor his wrath does not exist. My dieties encourage magic and creativity so I don't think I'll be facing any wrath. I'm not offended by your question, I understand that according to your beleif you think I will be burned in a firey pit for all eternity so it would only be natural for you to wonder why I would so willingly face the fire, but as I do not share your beleif I am not worried

Doesn't bother me. There's no "h" in "sure," by the way.

You say that you aren't trying to convert us, but you obviously are! What else do you call it? Even when I was Christian, I never accepted the Bible as anything other than a historical text. It was written by men!

Men have the tendency to embellish, rewrite, alter, change, and even outright lie to suit their own intents and purposes. Do you know how many times the Bible has been revised and rewritten, and the very meaning changed by such rewrites?

Look, we each choose our own path in life. You've chosen your and I have chosen mine. I don't tell you that you're wrong, so why must you insist on telling me that I'm wrong?

You're God is a false idol, who has led you astray with promises of a Heaven that doesn't exist. When you die, you'll be recycled into a new life somewhere in the universe like everybody else...

Zeus is God. Read the Iliad.

Considering the fact that the God in question doesn't figure into my belief system at all, I'm not worried about it. That's your programming, it doesn't affect me anymore.

However if you want to believe that I am somehow going to be condemned by your God for not worshipping him you're more than entitled to your opinion. Just don't go thinking that you're going to be changing my mind anytime soon.

And by the way, if this is some attempt to try to convert Pagans to Christianity, I'll let you in on a little secret: Combative, confrontational posts like this are not the way to go. You can catch more flies with honey than you can with vinegar: Keep that in mind.

Cheers.

Assuming I am wrong about my beliefs, and other Gods really don't exist and God is the only god and I must face him for judgement when I die, yes. I'd rather enjoy life, worship who I please, and then go to hell, where I was probably going anyway, than spend my whole life living up to the impossible standards of a violent, prejudiced, intolerant, petty hypocritical divine lord. I have measured the risk and find it acceptable.

I personally believe we all worship the same gods, though we may see and worship them differently. Besides, Christianity is a relatively new religion. Witchcraft has been around for ages. Not that either is right or wrong, I'm just saying, to each his own.

Oh, and didn't Elijah curse people in the name of God?

Stop justifying fright and intimidation through scripture. No wonder we Christians get a bad wrap. All though it is good to use the word of God to correct people of their wrong-doing. But, if they believe it to be right, why must you insist for God says that he is the only Judge. If he wants to afflict them, he'll do it. Nonetheless, do not pretend to be God's prophet by just quoting a few words of scripture. Let God do his job and you do yours.

Get a life. Not everyone is a Christian, and because you post something on YA! doesn't mean you're going to convert Wiccans and Pagans to your religion that is biased against women. I'm not even Pagan or Wiccan, and I still think you're an idiot. Have a nice day.
