Air Force leadership recently releasing proposed guidelines that will restrict how Air Force chaplains can pray. If approved, these guidelines may well be implemented throughout the entire Armed Forces. Already, it is documented that chaplains are “feeling the heat” to restrict their prayers and mask their faith. Christian chaplains are being told NOT to pray in the name of Jesus
A Christian who does not pray in the name of Jesus is not a christian.

the military bill says that you can pray to ANY OTHER deity, but you CANNOT pray in JESUS NAME.
That means your islamists could still pray to Allah, and your Jews can still pray to G-d, and your wiccans can still pray to the 100+ gods of their chosing, but the Christian Chaplan has a gag over his/her mouth when it comes to praying to their deity.

Because a ignorant Jew cried wolf, when a Chaplin ended a prayer in Christ' name.
As a matta facta..it is going to The Senate Bill next week.
You think that Jew is sitting in a good place about now?
[Edit] atreadia. You know what? They may be a Christian..but..The prayer can NOT be heard. now...this is borderline.."Denying Christ". think about it. You have to Deny using His name in prayer.
.Good Q*

My father is a Christian chaplain. He used to be one in the navy and now works at a VA hospital. The armed forces are run by the government and public taxes go to fund them. How would you feel if you were a Muslim or a Jew in the army but the chaplain always prayed in Jesus's name? It would probably feel like being a Christian and having a chaplain pry in Mohammed's name. Or having your chaplain say "Allah uakbar". Christians have a difficult time of putting themselves in other's shoes because they believe their way is the right way.

Almost all chaplains do NOT use a diety's name nowdays. I've been in the AF the last 8 years so I've heard quite a few invocations. Personally, I think there should be no prayer at all, but the religious people need to "cleanse" their souls before we go rain death and destruction on our enemies.

Well, hang on a sec, chaplains often give invocations at official functions where multiple faiths are represented. In these situations, they are not sacrificing their own faith; the idea is to facilitate the general religious needs of the people present, and that's what they do.

the respond isn't any, they don't look to be Christians. They coach a diverse Jesus one that is opposite to what the bible teaches. they are workers of wickedness. of direction they're going to attempt to apply Trinitarian evidence textual content cloth----textual content cloth Trinitarians have taken out of context. as an occasion: "earlier ABRAHAM EXISTED i'm"- Jesus respond dealt the age of his lifestyles not id and has not something to do with God's identify recent in Exodus 3:14. The jews reponse grew to become into he isn't even 50 years how would desire to he have existed earlier Abraham. "I AND MY FATHER ARE ONE" - they igore here verses that states we are to be one as they are one. It unquestionably can't advise Jesus is Jehovah, nevertheless Jesus himself is termed a father interior the e book of Isaiah. For if that's what it capacity then we are one yet another. "in case you notice ME you notice MY FATHER" - in view that no guy has ever viewed God at every time and if God had taken human sort he could nonetheless be God...then Jesus would desire to be relating his father's character, not his shape or sort. "ALL AUTHORITY HAS BEEN GIVEN ME IN HEAVEN AND on earth" - Does God actually would desire to take transport of authority? Can a be sure supply an purely-begotten baby finished authority of their corporation affairs? Does that make the baby equivalent to the be sure? one component that seems to confuse trinitarians is the actuality that the two Father and Son have some titles in user-friendly so as that they asssume they are the comparable or are equals.. as an occasion, the two Jehovah God and his Son Jesus are called: Father, Savior, Lord, powerful God, King, husbands, masters, and so on. yet a similar difficulty is authentic of George Bush (Sr. and Jr) they too have comparable identify names yet does that advise they are the comparable adult males? Or that they are equals? the two are Fathers, the two are ex-presidents, ex-commander in chief, husbands, and so on. are you able to work out the place a confusion can upward thrust up interior the destiny with some pupils thinking that the president ruled for 12 years quite of 8 and four slightly (2 separate adult males).

If I'm reading that right, it's absolute crap. It's not true.
I did ROTC (ended up quiting bc I hated it) and the chaplain said in a room full of 50+ cadets, "god loves you and god is here with you." He didn't take any consideration for the non-chrisitans in there. I had to use all my energy to not burst out laughing, mainly bc if I had, I would have gotten yelled at.......again.

I believe that's because everybody in the christian faith don't pray to the same name. Some pray to Jesus, some to God, Some to the father, son,and holy spirit.
