This is a very good question.
A lot of Christians that I grew up going to church with seemed to view this life as kind of a "necessary evil," and that's putting it nicely. They were constantly testifying about how horrible the world is, and how it just gets more wicked and more sinful with each passing day, and so on and so forth. They felt that we all just needed to tough out this life as well as we could so we could go home to be with Jesus in Paradise. I even remember a hymn that went something like "This world is not my home...I'm just a passer-by." Then again, there were also a good number who were like "The Lord has given us this life, we need to make the most out of it and cherish each day that He gives us." Personally, I fall into the latter category.
I don't know a whole lot of atheists, and I can't really speak for the ones I do know, because I usually don't discuss spirituality with them. I guess it makes sense that they would think things like "This is my life; I have one shot to get it right and make the most of it. After this, I am nothing more than worm food."
I sometimes think that Buddhists and others who embrace Reincarnation would have a more relaxed view of life. In other words, they might approach life with the mindset that they need to make the most out of what they have, but if they happen to make a few mistakes, that's okay, because they'll have their next life to correct their mistake.

i think of an atheist could have the main precise POV approximately life, considering the fact that there is no magic or afterlife skewing their opinion. i might additionally think of that they have got the skill to cherish life better than a theist because of this, understanding that that's the final dance. yet they may additionally basically in comparison to life, and that they does no longer experience trapped into it by utilising any threats from spiteful imaginary beings, so that they could be happy to stop. life isn't well worth residing for each guy or woman. i might charm to the ravenous and diseased people of the third worldwide international locations for occasion this. some people stay painful lives with out wish for convenience. some people, contrarily, have lives of priviledge and melancholy besides. there is not extra useful choose than the guy guy or woman to declare despite if life is well worth residing. that's a human's remarkable to die. despite if it is the final dance, so % properly.

I'd say atheists, without a doubt. Those who believe in heaven live their whole lives waiting for the good bit, and if you think you'll be reincarnated you might not care so much about making this life count. As much as Christians enjoy telling atheists how meaningless their lives are, they place far more meaning on life than anyone else.

I am an Athiest and I try to cherish life as best as I can. I will do what I want when I want as long as it does not harm other people around me. The way I see it, make as many happy memories as you can 'cause after you die, that's it. I don't like the idea of just stopping to exist, but it happens to everybody, who knows, there is probaly another existence and we will be born into that one....One can only dream ^.^

We all cherish life equally, just in different ways. Buddhisms do not look forward to reincarnation, our goal is to achieve Nirvana and leave the samsara, never to be reborn again. We cease to exist.

Actually, Buddhists are not looking forward to another reincarnation. They are hoping to escape from the wheel of life and not have to go through it again.

They better! traditionally they don't make very good soldiers.
When you know that this life is all there is, your not so anxious to give it up. When Russia convinced everyone there was no God.
They never had anyone to fight their battles for them.
So all they ever had was a cold war. Wasn't until some started believeing in God that they got some soldiers back.

I believe so.
I know that I care more about theists than some theists care about other theists, and that is sad. I wish they would all think rationally, reasonably, and logically. Delusionally is no way to go through life, besides if "God" wanted you to be in heaven with him, why wouldn't he/she/it just have created you there in the first place so as to save you trouble. We atheist spend this life fixings world problems for our next of kin. Instead of the theist spending all of this life preparing for the next one, we are the one's that have to take care of the planet for the rest of the bunch.
We can't stop global warming or hurricanes through prayer. We are faced with REALISTIC problems that need REALISTIC solutions. Praying won't stop a child from getting cancer, science can prove it. We(the human species) are here as long as the universe allows us to be: whether that be 1000 years or 30 million years.
So actually atheists are REALISTS. We understand that the earth needs to be taken care of and not in the midst of holy wars that are destructive to the earth. We understand that problems need to be taken care of and we have to take them Face-to-Face instead of Face-to-Personal Thought. Prayer is for "Peace", but only for "Peace of Mind." If prayer helps you get out there and preserve this planet and help others to carry on the human race, so be it, but don't waste your thoughts on trying to divert a hurricane.

Remember that atheists and unbelievers in general are not afraid of hell and eternal punishment. So all we have to care for is ethics, the law, and not hurting people. After that is considered, our imagination is the limit!

In my opinion, Buddhists would cherish life most because they are so relaxed from chanting and learning.
