I don't really know much about alcohol. I'm going to club with some ladies this weekend, and I don't want to get embarrassed because I don't know how to order drinks. Can someone name a few *light* drinks. I can't drink too much because I will get drunk easily. My friend ordered me a drink called cranberry last time, and it tasted like soda - what was it anyway?

first off, u said that you didn't want anything too strong because you'll get drunk easy.....then DO NOT order a long island ice tea...it has 7 shots in it. yes if it is made right it does taste just like ice tea,but lets say you sip 2 long island ice teas...that 14 shots(or ounces) of liquor you would be drunk. no matter where you go there are always different recipes for drinks. the cranberry that your friend ordered for you could be made a 100 different ways depending on what bar you are in. ask him what was in it if that is the drink that you want. If you want a beer order a beer. the girls that u are going out with will order their own drinks. ( u could be really nice and pay for them though .....at least one round) take extra money separate from your drinking money for a cab(taxi)

It's great your going out...Remember, you don't have to drink just because alcohol is served. Order the drinks for your lady friends, and get yourself a non-alcoholic beverage and you can sip on throughout the evening. If you fear getting drunk, DON"T drink. You seem to want to make a positive impression. I have never seen a drunk man make a positive impression. Remember, you need to stay in control of the situation You can't have any control once you allow vulnerability, such as alcohol into your body. It's alright if you don't drink... Shows an impressionable sign of responsibility...Good Luck and be Safe.

A lot of people have suggested vodka or drinks with tequila (margaritas, etc). Don't drink these types of alcohols unless you are an experienced drinker. They will certainly creep up on you and you'll wake up naked on someone's lawn in the morning. Stick to beer or wine - at least you can see how much alcohol you are drinking versus having to guess how strong the bartender is making the drinks. Whatever you do -- no Long Island Ice Teas -- those will get you hammered in no time flat. Good luck.

Just ask the ladies what they want to order and I'm pretty sure that they'll have the poison of their choice. As for you, just ask your friend so that you'll know what you want to order. The light drinks are usually cocktails... which kinda taste like spiked punch. Or maybe just order a vodka 7... or instead of a beer get a vodka ice or something... can't you tell i love vodka? hahaha

Keeping it simple: Bud, Bud Light, Miller Lite, Heineken, Corona.
It's beer and it takes longer for you to get drunk because 12oz of alcohol is the same as 1 1/4oz of liquor ('shot').
If you want to drink liquor, order a tall vodka and cranberry. One shot with a good amount of cranberry and you probably won't get drunk. Just don't drink too many of those - it cleans your kidneys AND your colon.

Long Island Ice Tea's are always a safe sexy bet
Real woman...Light Beer to prove to you..she is just one of the guys and can play rough with the rest of them.
Watch what they are drink..It will tell you what kind of girl they are...
Forget Margaritas...No foo foo drinks..No Umbrellas..Good Strong Mixed Drinks..Or something a guy would drink.. Those are the one's you wont forget .

Stay away from the long island ice tea, if they make it right it will contain all the white spirits and a dash of coke. try a Pina Colada, sounds special, but should only have 1oz of alcohol in it. It tastes of coconut and pineapple. If in doubt ask the bartender to make you something special with not a lot of alcohol in it, Bartenders love the chance to show off.

DO NOT ORDER A LONG ISLAND ICED TEA!! That will kill you! It has five different kinds of booze in it.
Order champagne for you and the ladies...they'll love you.
If they don't have that, maybe a bay breeze or sea breeze. One is pine/cran/vodka, the other is grapefruit/cran/vodka. They'll taste good, so drink slow. =)

she ordered you a vodka cranberry? thats a good drink, not really light unless your at a place that makes them weak. another good light one would be captain and coke or an amaretto sour. if all else fails, just order a beer, they are ussually cheaper anyway. miller light and sam adams are good.
