I am Pagan . Paganism or Wicca. Paganism is the general terms and Wicca is more detail. You say you don't believe in magik, but magik is so much more than the rabbit coming out of a hat. Some see magik as the way that mother earth wakes every spring and some see magik as spells. But that is a side issue, pagan religion is earth based it celebrates the earth and it's cycles. We eat meat unless thru a personal choice we are vegetarian, we balance our lives along with mother earth, respect all living things as well as ourselves. We have one main creed or rule "if it harms none do what thou will". What is interesting about Paganism is that we are not bound to follow it in its entirety we can pick and choose and celebrate in ways that makes us comfortable. But I am not here to convince you, the experience must come from within you so do some research who knows it might be the religion for you.
FYI: the Pentacle is not evil, its points in the star represent EARTH, WIND, FIRE, WATER and the top point is the SPIRIT that surrounds us all.
Blessed Be....

It's good to know that you are open to believing in the existence of God again but unless we know what made you leave religion, the problem will remain.
You have mentioned really good qualities that you respect all living creatures. I'm not entirely sure about what you meant by "elements" but there is something called destiny and only supplication can change destiny. Mind and the ability to think is definitely what we possess over all other creatures. I think Islam is the religion for you but for that you will have to spend at least some time with me to understand it and if you decide against it, that's up to you. Give it a chance.
I wish you the best of luck.

Candy,
In the strict sense you are not a religion by yourself. You can have your own spirituality. This, however, will not ensure you will like your afterlife. As our immortal souls mature they will become what you put into them. Like anything else the transitional state from one existence to another has a 3 fold process: what it was, what it is, and what it shall be. So, if you choose to reject the Creator by pursuing your own self, the consequences may be dire.
Consider this about Jesus:
Jesus Christ only lived 33 years, never went more than 30 miles from his home, never wrote a book, never was on tv, never made a cd or any multimedia source and YET
-- Jesus Christ has influenced the world more than any person;
-- Jesus Christ's existence separates history (ac or bc);
-- Jesus Christ has more books written about him than any person in history;
-- Jesus Christ is the Ruler of the largest religion in the world;
-- Jesus Christ had 11 apostles and numerous martyrs die excruciating deaths believing in the Messiah, the Son of God;
-- Jesus Christ as the promised messiah fulfilled over 300 prophesies in the Old Testament. Just fulfilling 50 makes the odds of doing so 10X135 power, an astronomical number. No human being has ever fulfilled so many prophesies about them, not even Moses!
In short, Jesus Christ has accomplished things NO OTHER HUMAN BEING HAS DONE in the entire history of mankind. If anyone thinks Jesus Christ is JUST A GOOD TEACHER they are very unrealistic by making such a huge understatement.
I would hate to see you pass up an opportunity to discover the truth about controversial issues. If you have any questions feel free to contact me.

Belief in God is not futile as some here might have you think.
Take a little time all to yourself examine your life and all you have touched and changed in this world.
Find a nice quiet spot outside to meditate. Do not think of any worldly or personal problems, and focus on your surroundings. Look at the intricate creatures and natural beauties of the world. These things, all have a relationship to one another, and all are generated through God.
How many lives you have changed, through influence or just by listening to others dilemmas?
Now you could stop believing in God and become an atheist, and everything you have done here has been for nothing. But, you know that doesn't feel right.
What you could be feeling is a lack of social outlet. To me that's about the only thing churches are good for.
Read and follow the path of Jesus.
For he was the Master of life and came to show us how to achieve life eternal.

You were brainwashed by the church, you don´t have to HAVE a religion, just come out of the agnostic closet, live following my beliefs and be happy with it. If you keep searching for a religion you will never be completely happy unless you submit yourself to someones else will, an that´s what they want, total control over your life

What you believe is your religion. You don't have to have a building with a lot of benches in it. You don't have to have a choir to sing the praises of someone you never met. You can have religion no faith in your belief without anything or any body.
What I think is causing your emptiness is the feeling of being alone therefore you think you may be wrong and need more. Don't fall into a trap from that you are worth more than that.

You will eventually find what you need. I did. It took awhile but I am finally happy and feel at peace with the universe...that sounds kind of sappy!! But I think you know what I mean.
Try looking into nature based religions...paganism, Wicca/witchcraft (magick is involved but not the hocus pocus kind...it's based on using the natural occurring energy that exists in everything), native American beliefs, etc.
Blessed Be and best wishes in your search...

I highly respect your point of view, but the only way to fill up that emptiness is going back to believing in God.
Religions are man made, do not look at religions as your answer.

Yes, it's called faith in Jesus Christ - a true soul and spirit indwelling faith in Jesus Christ the only begotten son of God - it's the only thing that will fill the emptiness. And once you've tasted of the richness of that indwelled filling, you will find there is no other way to live or to desire to live. Been without him and then found him! Wouldn't look back and try it without him ever again!
