Spartaco Lombardo was born 1958 in the province of Varese. is Primarily self-taught, he is a figurative artist, using clean, modern strokes.
His paintings are serene and refined in their lyrical conception. The figures in his works denote the fine sensitivity of an artist expressing his fascination, sentiments, and emotions through his works. In addition to oil paintings, Lombardo works in the graphic arts, although his love and devotion are towards the more classical form. Lombardo has received critical acclaim throughout Italy and his paintings can be found in the best private collections in Italy, France, Sweden, Spain, Argentina, Venezuela, and the United States of America.
